00:00Sure, I can kind of summarize what I think we all signed today, which is the White House accord on
00:07developing this technology safely.
00:10The basic idea is that we want to give the American people and our customers confidence that the technology works
00:18in the way that we intend.
00:20So every company is building something that's a little bit different, having one set of standards for what everyone should
00:27want to build.
00:28People want to do some different things, but I think what we can all agree on is that the American
00:33public and our customers want to know that what we're building is working in the way that we all intend.
00:38So we drafted a set of principles and commitments around building robust internal controls and detecting if there are any
00:46issues with the technology, coupled with multiple layers of auditing and controls, starting with internal risk review, external auditors and
00:57evaluators,
00:58and agreeing that we're going to have all of our boards of directors independently review the reports that come from
01:04the auditors.
01:05I think that these are good steps forward. The idea isn't that this is the only thing that we will
01:09ever do.
01:09It is that this is a start and an accord that the whole industry could come to, and I was
01:14very proud to have that discussion with a number of our colleagues, who I think are running great companies.
01:23It was sort of a historic conversation. I don't think anything like this has come before, and I think this
01:28is a meaningful step forward. So thank you.
01:30Thank you.
