00:00Maybe that's the most honest way to end this topic. The question isn't whether Europe can
00:05do spaceflight. ESA and Europe's space industry have long since proven that. With Rosetta,
00:11Gaia, the James Webb Space Telescope, Mars Express, BepiColombo, Copernicus and so many
00:16other missions. The question is, does Europe want to pursue spaceflight as an instrument of power
00:22or merely as a cultural project? Because now is the time to stake out a position,
00:27the other powers in this new multipolar world order are also positioning themselves right now.
00:34It will happen with or without Europe. Because spaceflight today is about security,
00:39the economy, infrastructure and geopolitical leverage. And those who don't launch on their
00:45own will ultimately just be along for the ride.
