A powerful wind phenomenon struck the Central de Abastos in Actopan, Hidalgo, sending dust, merchandise and roofing materials flying. Videos show what appears to be a rotating circulation moving through the market.
However, authorities have not officially confirmed that it was a tornado. Local reports describe it as a possible tornado, whirlwind or intense dust storm. No injuries were reported, while significant property damage was documented.
