00:05This is going to change everything.
00:10My dad, he was hunting for Bigfoot.
00:13We have an expedition forming right now.
00:16It's a wild story.
00:19The goal was to prove that Bigfoot existed.
00:24We came around the bin and the creek, and there stood a big, hairy, human-like creature.
00:30This image has become as legendary as the footage of the first moon landing.
00:36It exploded on the American scene.
00:39It went viral before the word viral existed.
00:43It was in movie theaters around the country.
00:46Every one of them was sold out.
00:48Aldi Attlee was the promoter.
00:50He made hundreds of thousands of dollars.
00:52He f***ed my family out of a bunch of money.
00:55This is a story about money and greed.
00:59Was this all a fraud?
01:01I just want the truth knowing that it was a fate.
01:03He's a f***ing liar.
01:04We couldn't do that with a costume in 1967.
01:08Maybe you can't find a hoax because there isn't one.
01:15Everyone close to us felt it's damaged their lives.
01:19My mom disowned me, and it's over this film.
01:23I don't want to talk about that.
01:29I think there's fear.
01:30There's some prominent people in this community.
01:33Some real nasty things went on.
01:36They wanted to protect the film.
01:38He threatened me a lot.
01:39He had enough power to have me bumped on.
01:43They're shutting us down.
01:55What would it take for you to accept the truth?
01:59It would have to be something major.
