The 2024 New York International Auto Show brings together some of the newest hypercars, wild concept cars, and heavily modified supercars in one crowded, behind-the-ropes walk-through. From Chevrolet’s Corvette lineup and the missing Camaro to the Mustang GTD, Rolls-Royce Spectre, Rimac Nevera, Lamborghini Revuelto, and a hand-painted McLaren 600LT, the show floor is packed with rare metal and surprising details.

The tour also goes upstairs to the exhibitor level, where tuner builds and custom imports steal the spotlight. There are widebody Supras, a flashy WRX, a stickered Jaguar XJ220, a Tesla Model 3 with a bright orange roll cage, a customized Camaro with a roof rack, and even a Honda Civic Coupe with an unusual front splitter. Along the way, the hosts react to standout displays from Genesis, Hyundai, Subaru, Lexus, Audi, and Manhattan Motorcars, all with the usual car-spotting commentary and close-up auto show access.

For fans of hypercars, supercars, auto show coverage, car spotting, and modified car walks, this is a fast-paced New York auto show recap with rare factory reveals and extreme custom builds. It’s ideal for viewers searching for 2024 auto show highlights, exotic car tours, and behind-the-scenes automotive content.

00:00Folks, we're back at the 2024 New York International Auto Show.
00:03We're not here on a media day, so in a little bit, it's about to get extremely crowded,
00:07but we're taking you along with us, and we're going to have a good day.
00:19Folks, we're here at the Chevrolet booth checking out the E-Ray, the Stingray, and the Z06,
00:24and it is super cool to see them all in one place.
00:26I've actually never seen the E-Ray until today, but on some more unfortunate news, folks,
00:30there are no Camaros here.
00:32It is the first auto show we've been to in two decades that has not featured a Camaro,
00:35and that is because they're being discontinued.
00:37It is a very sad day on the Christian Cars channel.
00:39Folks, first impression of the Mustang GTD, it looks absolutely insane.
00:43I can't say it justifies a $300,000 price tag.
00:47The wheels look incredible.
00:48The fenders look incredible.
00:49There are a ton of aerodynamics.
00:51That spoiler is gargantuan.
00:53I mean, it looks fantastic.
00:55But it looks fantastic for about $150,000.
00:57We're here at the Michael Strahan booth, and he might be one of the most low-key supercar collectors.
01:02He has this Daydream R on display, and right next to it, he has a red LM002.
01:08Who would have thought Michael Strahan had a Rambo Lambo?
01:10Folks, next to Michael Strahan's collection, you'll find Tracy Morgan's LaFerrari with tire stickers
01:15and a yellow little tree.
01:17This might be the first time in history that a little tree has been placed in a $3 million LaFerrari.
01:22Nice to meet you.
01:23Lovely to be here.
01:23Thanks so much.
01:24Folks, this is Rolls-Royce Spectre right here.
01:26It's no regular-dagular Spectre.
01:28We're talking purple, white, silver.
01:30Everything's matching.
01:31The center caps, the two-tone interior.
01:33Purple might be the new Chris in color.
01:35Folks, a little behind-the-rope access.
01:37It feels so unorthodox for us to be back here.
01:40It feels almost illegal.
01:41Come on, let's go check out the Jumeirah.
01:42It's so much crazier being this close to the cars as opposed to being on the opposite side.
01:47We've never been on this side of the field.
01:49It's a new development for Chris and Cars.
01:50The door on the Jumeirah is about to open.
01:52You have to see how big this thing is because it is a four-seater car, but a two-door
01:56car.
01:57Let's have a closer look.
01:58Full carbon fiber buckets.
02:00Like I said, four seats, and each person has two cup holders.
02:04It might be the most practical car under the sun, folks.
02:06All along the tub, all along the seats.
02:09It's either carbon fiber or Alcatara.
02:11That's it.
02:12Only two materials.
02:13Wow.
02:14Not only does this car have four seats, eight cup holders, and room in the back for your custom Koenigsegg
02:20luggage,
02:21but it has a twin-turbo V8 with an electric assist that's going to make 2,300 horsepower.
02:26The gentleman was asking me where the charge port on the Rimac Nevera is,
02:29and I'm not too sure.
02:30I have no idea.
02:31I was trying to find it, but I'm uneducated.
02:35This is not good.
02:36And last but not least, a car that I want to showcase, the all-new Lamborghini Revuelto.
02:40They're going to start hitting the streets soon.
02:42Super excited to see them on the road.
02:44What I will say after having sat in both the Revuelto and the Lamborghini Aventador,
02:48the Revuelto has way more room, and it is way more comfortable.
02:51Also, look at the spoiler.
02:52It's like, whoop, whoop, whoop.
02:54It's very wavy.
02:55It looks like a farfalle noodle.
02:57I gotta stop doing this YouTube stuff.
02:59Huge thank you to the guys over at Manhattan Motorcars for letting us take a closer look.
03:03Thanks so much.
03:03Nice to meet you.
03:04Oh, I'm so sorry.
03:05I'm top five clumsiest people in the United States, so.
03:08Folks, we're here at the Subaru booth.
03:09It's an absolute forest.
03:10And right next to me, it appears that reliable carriers had a tough time getting this one
03:15off the truck.
03:16I'm just kidding.
03:17It's supposed to be for, like, crash test ratings to show that they're okay.
03:21They had to specify, for your safety, do not touch the vehicle.
03:23Like, it's gonna get in any worse condition than it already is.
03:27I can't say that I'm a diehard Subaru fan, but this booth has to be the best display at
03:32the entire show.
03:33Two years ago, we saw this car at the Philadelphia Auto Show, and I called it Ken Block's car,
03:38and I got absolutely flamed in the comments.
03:40So I'm not gonna make the same mistake.
03:42Oh, that's awesome.
03:42You're gonna love it, man.
03:43Thank you, man.
03:44Thanks, guys.
03:44For the last few years, I've been seeing a ton of off-road-built Lexus GX460s, because
03:48they're super off-road capable, but also super luxurious.
03:51So it's very cool to see Lexus taking some notes.
03:55Folks, Genesis is completely stepping up their game, starting off with this G80 Magma.
03:59I don't know a ton about it.
04:00They're only making a few units, and I think they're already all spoken for.
04:04Next up, we have the Grand Berlinetta Concept, which, unfortunately, probably will never come
04:08out or hit the streets.
04:09But it's a super cool staple as to what's to come for the brand.
04:11Another cool compact SUV, this GV60 Magma, has a really cool little spoiler.
04:17It has air disc wheels.
04:18And from the front, it kind of looks like if Koenigsegg were to make a little SUV.
04:22In other news for Genesis, they have this absolutely gargantuan, what looks like a third-row SUV.
04:27And it looks like they took a little bit out of the Mercedes playbook here, folks.
04:31I'm just saying.
04:32I'm just saying.
04:32How you doing?
04:34Nice to meet you.
04:34Folks, the Hyundai Santa Fe took probably the biggest 180 in automotive history here.
04:39It used to just be like a regular full-size SUV, and now it looks like a Ford Flex.
04:45And it has little H's in the headlights.
04:47In case you didn't know, it was a Hyundai.
04:49They're reminding you.
04:50We found the Audi booth.
04:51It's tucked away here in the corner.
04:52It is a little bit small.
04:54But, folks, this might be the last time at an auto show we see an Audi R8.
04:58More unfortunate news.
04:59We lost the Camaro.
05:00We lost the Audi R8.
05:01What's next?
05:02Somebody came up to me today at the show and said, aren't you the guy who climbs in and out
05:06of trunks?
05:06I might be.
05:08No, come on.
05:09We can't.
05:09We can't.
05:10We can't.
05:10We can't.
05:10Let's be respectful here.
05:11We're at the New York International Auto Show.
05:13It's international, folks.
05:14Breaking and entering.
05:15Checking out a hand-painted McLaren 600LT.
05:18Might be the first in history.
05:19I don't know of any other hand-painted 600LTs.
05:21Oh, it's currently being hand-painted.
05:23Here we go.
05:24It's currently.
05:24I'm sorry to interrupt.
05:25I'm sorry to interrupt.
05:26You're good.
05:27Having fun.
05:27Very cool.
05:28I'll keep it going.
05:29I'll keep it going.
05:29Yeah, yeah.
05:30The Santa seats.
05:31Santa seats.
05:32Santa seats.
05:33I'm going to try.
05:33The Santa seats are the coolest seats, but notoriously uncomfortable.
05:38So we're going to see.
05:39Nice and graceful here, folks.
05:40Nice and graceful.
05:42Oh, boy.
05:43All right.
05:44A little snug.
05:45A little snug.
05:46And I'm like 150, but it's snug, folks.
05:49If you hit one pothole in this car, the seat is just going to break your tail fin.
05:54It's breaking your tail fin.
05:56They're not forgiving.
05:58There's a little bit of padded material here, hard as a rock, and then it's just carbon fiber
06:02bucket.
06:03That's it.
06:04Those are the Santa seats, folks.
06:05The first floor covered all of the manufacturer cars, and now we're on floor two to check out
06:09the exhibitors' fully modified supercars.
06:12Got my fingers on the post, avocado and toast.
06:14Leather seats get plain, always ready to go.
06:17Catch a suntan on the roof at the yacht, a penthouse, elevator, take us up to the top.
06:23Starting off with this Chris and Carr spec, Huracan LP610, on tuner wheels, with a big spoiler
06:29in the back.
06:30Might be a carbon fiber spoiler, but I'm impressed here.
06:33I didn't think tuner wheels would work on a $300,000 Lamborghini, but they do.
06:38Folks, we have now made it to the Supra section, which is home of almost a dozen different Supras,
06:44but one that I want to point out in particular is this Mark V, with quite possibly the world's
06:50widest hips.
06:51We've seen some wide hips on the channel, folks, but these might be the widest.
06:54Two things to unpack here.
06:55We have quite possibly the shiniest Lamborghini Huracan Evo wrap job, but if you think that's
07:00crazy, I'd like to point your attention to this WRX that is flashing just a tremendous
07:06amount of front.
07:06Oh my god.
07:08I thought this was like tuner-like modified cars.
07:10What is a Jaguar XJ220 doing here?
07:13A fully stickered out Jaguar XJ220.
07:16If anybody in the tri-state area has one of these cars that jumps up and down, I am dying
07:20to go for a ride in one.
07:21So please contact us, prisoncarsinquiries at gmail.com, and we would love to connect.
07:26And also, this particular one has a golden bicicleta on the back of it.
07:31It's a serious ride, folks.
07:32On today's installment of things that are completely unnecessary, we have a Tesla Model
07:363 with a bright orange roller cage in it.
07:38It's all-wheel drive, folks.
07:39It's all-wheel drive.
07:40And the whole bottom of the car is a big battery, so you better believe it's hooking.
07:46Nice to see you, too.
07:47How you doing?
07:48How are you?
07:48Good.
07:48The FR-S, in my opinion, is one of the coolest-looking entry-level sports cars.
07:52If only they just had like 100, 120 more horsepower, I think it would be one of the coolest cars.
07:58Earlier, I talked about how cool it was that Lexus is taking the GX and making it more off-road
08:02capable, but before they did that, this is what people did with their GX460s.
08:06Folks, the New York Auto Show is looking up.
08:08Chevy let us down slightly because they discontinued the Camaro.
08:11We're right in front of us.
08:13A very, very customized six-gen Camaro with a roof rack.
08:17Look at the roof rack on that thing.
08:18This thing is cool.
08:20Should I do mine like this?
08:21Folks, we've seen Starlight headliners.
08:23But have you ever seen a Starlight trunk liner?
08:26Folks, we have here a Honda Civic Coupe.
08:28I thought this was part of the podium, folks.
08:30It is, in fact, the front splitter of the vehicle.
08:33I don't know if it's aerodynamic or I don't know.
08:37I really don't know what it is.
08:38Folks, that just about wraps it up.
08:40We saw some awesome manufactured cars, some really cool customized cars, and we even went
08:44behind the rope of the Manhattan Motor Cars booth to check out some insane cars.
08:50We're going to go eat hot dogs.
08:51We'll see you next time.
08:52I don't know, man.
08:53It feels like just last year, a New York City water dog was $2.50.
08:58$5 dog right here.
08:59That's $10 worth of dogs right here.
09:02A New York City hot dog is a staple in our culture.
09:05But we raised the price to $5.
09:07I mean, I can't keep up.
09:09I can't keep up.
