00:03Now I think when entertaining one of the most important things to remember is that nobody likes
00:07a busy, busy host. So before your guests arrive I would lay out all the glasses that you would
00:12need in order to entertain. Now I like to always start the conversation with some form of welcome
00:18drink. I particularly love these outrageous numbers which were designed by my great friend
00:23Henry Holland. They are fabulous I think because they can be a wine glass on one side, turn them
00:29around and it's a martini glass. So we love a dual purpose piece and that's exactly what that does.
00:35Now depending on whether or not I'm having red or white I will pick a different glass. If I'm going
00:40for white wine I tend to use these little glassette French bistro glasses. The reason for that is that
00:46they're not particularly big and it means that the white wine stays colder. There is like few things
00:51more disgusting I find than warm white wine and also it's quite fun when you see the wine you know
00:59really nice it's a nice engaging little moment to have with your guests. If I'm going for something
01:04heavier like a full-bodied red I will use an appropriately large glass like this which were
01:10very let's say late night purchase and I was very excited when I saw them. I was so excited in
01:16fact
01:16that I didn't notice they were coming all the way from the United States of America so the import fees
01:21and the shipping ended up costing more than the glassware but they are beautiful and they get bought
01:26out at special occasions. Of course you have to have an appropriate champagne coupe and these are fab.

01:36colourful rim which adds a pop of colour to either a bar or a tablescape or whatever it is that
