This harrowing dashcam footage captures the sheer, terrifying power of the massive August 10, 2026, earthquake right at the moment it struck Pereira, Colombia. Located directly in the heart of the Coffee Region, one of the areas hardest hit by the 7.4 magnitude quake, the road scene rapidly devolves into pure chaos.
The ground violently shifts beneath the vehicle. Within seconds, everything in the camera's line of sight begins trembling wildly. Massive trees sway unnaturally from side to side, parked and driving cars bounce on their suspension as if tossed by an invisible wave, and overhead streetlights lash back and forth violently against the sky.
The utter loss of stability and raw force on display make for a deeply distressing and wince-inducing showcase of nature's destructive power.
