00:06protect broadband services. The company says 900 jobs will transfer to BT, alongside services
00:12used by 2.5 million customers. TalkTalk connections also support essential services, including
00:19healthcare, education, transport and emergency response. The government intervened, warning
00:24that a collapse could put vulnerable customers at risk. Ministers have referred the deal for
00:30scrutiny by the Competition and Markets Authority, which will examine competition concerns. BT says
00:37customers do not need to take action and services should continue as normal while the regulatory
00:42process continues.
