00:07Marvel has been dropping one surprise after another lately, but one of the biggest talking
00:12points coming out of all the Avengers Doomsday reveals is something fans almost missed. While
00:17everyone was busy looking at Doctor Doom, Captain America, Gambit, and all the massive reveals from
00:23San Diego Comic-Con, another mysterious detail quietly grabbed attention. It wasn't announced
00:29on stage with a huge spotlight, and Marvel never directly explained it. But after fans looked a
00:35little closer, a bunch of people started wondering if the studio had just teased Scarlet Witch's
00:40return to the MCU. Considering Wanda Maximoff has been gone for several years, it immediately became
00:47one of the most exciting theories surrounding Avengers Doomsday. Marvel's Hall H presentation
00:53had a lot going on because the studio packed it with major announcements. Fans got updates on
00:59several upcoming projects, a brand new Avengers Doomsday trailer, and even displays showing
01:04costumes that will appear in the movie. Some of those outfits belong to characters everyone
01:09expected to see, including Sam Wilson's Captain America, Channing Tatum's Gambit, and Robert
01:15Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. Those costumes naturally grabbed plenty of attention because they're tied
01:21directly to the biggest heroes and villains in the movie. But another costume sitting nearby
01:26ended up creating just as much discussion, even though Marvel didn't explain who it actually
01:32belonged to. The mysterious outfit was labeled as belonging to a Latverian witch. That alone was
01:39enough to get fans talking because Latveria is Doctor Doom's homeland, and magic has always been a major
01:45part of Doom's comic book history. The costume itself looked like it had been designed with Doom in
01:50mind. It featured a green bodice, a matching green cloak, and a smooth metallic mask. While it clearly
01:57took inspiration from Doctor Doom's armor, it wasn't exactly the same because the mask looked much more
02:03elegant and refined compared to Doom's rough armored appearance in the trailers. At first, people simply
02:09assumed it was introducing another magical character from Latveria. That already sounded interesting
02:15because the MCU hasn't explored much of Doctor Doom's homeland yet. Avengers Doomsday appears ready
02:22to change that by diving deeper into Latveria's history, its magical traditions, and the people
02:27connected to Doom's past. That alone would expand the MCU in a pretty exciting way because Doctor Doom
02:34isn't just a scientific genius. He's also one of Marvel's greatest sorcerers, and magic has always been a
02:40huge part of his story. But things became even more interesting over the following days. The costume
02:47didn't stay the same color. Instead, Marvel quietly changed it. What started as green later became orange,
02:55and after that it turned purple. That simple change immediately sent fans into theory mode because
03:00Marvel rarely does something like that without a reason. Even though the studio didn't offer any
03:06explanation, the different colors quietly sparked endless discussions online. Some fans believe each
03:12color represents a different witch who could appear alongside Doctor Doom. Others think the colors match
03:18the witches introduced in Agatha all along. Green could represent death. Orange might point toward
03:24Lilia Calderu, while purple naturally reminds everyone of Agatha Harkness. Since Marvel has been expanding the
03:31magical side of the MCU over the last few years, those ideas certainly make sense, and they fit with
03:37everything fans have already seen. Another popular theory takes things in a completely different
03:43direction. Instead of representing different witches, some believe the colors could symbolize the
03:49infinity stones. Even though the infinity stones from Earth-616 were destroyed after Thanos reduced them
03:55to atoms, the multiverse opens the door for countless alternate realities where those powerful objects
04:01could still exist. Since Avengers Doomsday is expected to embrace multiversal storytelling in a huge way,
04:08that possibility can't be ruled out either. There are actually a bunch of magical characters who could
04:14easily fill the role of Doctor Doom's mysterious witch companion. Clea is one possibility because she was
04:21introduced at the end of Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Doctor Strange himself
04:26obviously has enough magical experience to become involved in Doom's plans. Sylvie from Loki also
04:33possesses powerful magic, while characters like the Ancient One remain popular possibilities through the
04:39multiverse. Marvel has no shortage of powerful sorcerers to choose from. But despite all those possibilities,
04:46one name continues to dominate almost every conversation, Scarlet Witch. As soon as fans saw
04:53the mysterious costume, Wanda Maximoff immediately became the leading theory. Even though Marvel
04:59officially confirmed her death after Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, many fans have never
05:05fully believed her story was over. Comic book characters have a habit of returning from impossible situations,
05:11and Wanda is one of Marvel's most popular heroes. Because of that, people have continued hoping
05:17Elizabeth Olsen would eventually return to the MCU. Wanda's journey has easily been one of the most
05:23emotional character arcs Marvel has ever created. She first appeared as an enemy during Avengers Age of
05:29Ultron before eventually becoming one of Earth's greatest heroes. She fought beside the Avengers through some of
05:35their darkest battles and even played a major role during the fight against Thanos. But losing Vision
05:41completely changed her life, and that heartbreaking loss slowly pushed her toward a much darker path.
05:48WandaVision explored the grief she couldn't escape, while Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness showed
05:53how the Darkhold twisted her emotions even further. Wanda became the terrifying Scarlet Witch, hunted
06:00America Chavez across the Multiverse, and even destroyed the Illuminati on Earth 838. Although those
06:07actions shocked audiences, the movie eventually showed Wanda realizing how far she had fallen.
06:12In the film's final moments, she chose to destroy Mount Wundagore along with every copy of the Darkhold
06:19across the Multiverse. This idea becomes even more interesting because Marvel Comics already connected
06:26these two characters years ago. During the Children's Crusade storyline, Wanda lost her memories and ended
06:33up living peacefully in Latveria with Doctor Doom. Doom manipulated her situation while helping her
06:39channel the Cosmic Life Force, hoping he could eventually claim that incredible power for himself.
06:45That storyline eventually brought the young Avengers into the conflict because they helped Wanda recover
06:51her memories. Once she remembered who she truly was, Doctor Doom stole her chaos magic and briefly became
06:58almost unstoppable. Many comic readers still consider that storyline one of the strongest connections
07:04between Wanda and Doom, so adapting parts of it for the MCU wouldn't be surprising at all.
07:11Interestingly, rumors surrounding Avengers Doomsday have suggested that Doctor Doom may already have a
07:17family when the family when the movie begins. If those reports end up being true, the mysterious Latverian
07:22witch could even be revealed as his wife. Whether that turns out to be Wanda or someone completely different
07:29remains unknown, but it certainly gives Marvel another fascinating direction to explore.
07:36Some rumors even suggest Doom's wife could die early in the story, sending him down a path of revenge
07:43that pushes him toward destroying the multiverse itself. That kind of emotional motivation would
07:49make Doom much more than a typical villain because his actions would come from personal loss rather than
07:54simple conquest. And that's that for today's video. Thanks for watching and we will see you in the next one.
