00:00So, what did audiences watch at the movies this weekend?
00:02Let's take a look at the films they chose the most.
00:05Let's get started.
00:06Primetime remains a top 5 favorite.
00:08It's a film that makes us ask some big questions.
00:11What happens when investigation and judgment become reality TV?
00:14And who really profits from it?
00:16Digger is the surprise of the chart.
00:18For a movie so often dismissed as lacking appeal,
00:21it's putting up a surprisingly solid performance.
00:23Just goes to show that conventional wisdom doesn't always match what audiences want.
00:28Maybe it's following in the footsteps of great films that were misunderstood in their time.
00:32Or so people thought.
00:33Heart of the Beast.
00:35Beauty and the Beast.
00:36Or maybe Handsome and the Beast.
00:38A heartfelt friendship built to last through life and death.
00:4158 miles.
00:42It's just you and me, boy.
00:47The heart of this beast is strong.
00:50I'll get you home.
00:51Till among the weekend's most popular friends,
00:54Resident Evil delivers inventive gore
00:55and one very overwhelmed delivery drug.
01:09Debuting straight at number one,
01:11Verity proves one thing.
01:12The one secret this movie can't keep
01:14is that Anne Hathaway remains a box office drug.
01:17We'll be back next week with a brand new ranking.
01:19Until then,
01:20have a great week.
01:21And enjoy the movies.
