The deep silence of the brutal winter embraces you when you wake up one morning in your cabin. There's no food anymore. A half-empty can of soda in the fridge. A beaten up old car in your garage with all the parts lying around it, and the cold starts to wrap around you, fingers tingling and hunger twisting your stomach around. You know you have to get the car running quickly now and you must leave the warmth of your home. There's no way out but the long and treacherous road into the unknown.

Drive, scavenge, upgrade and survive an artic wasteland that is actively trying to freeze and stop you — play solo or with up to 4 players in co-op.

The demo will come out on 8 October 2026.

00:06Hi, I'm Bobsy, one out of the two-man dev team behind Arctic Drive,
00:11a vehicle survival game set in a frozen apocalyptic north.
00:15With the demo just about to launch on October 8th, let's take a look at what it's all about.
00:21You play as a mechanic who's been surviving the freeze with the help of your trusty roommate Brian.
00:26That's just one problem.
00:28Brian took your truck and he hasn't been seen for days, so you'll need to get another vehicle running.
00:34You build and maintain your vehicles part by part, making sure everything works,
00:38and most importantly that you have enough fuel to reach your next destination.
00:43The doors are especially important, since they'll keep the freezing cold outside and the warmth inside.
00:49And of course, you can add a bit of personal style if you'd like.
00:53Once you're ready, you set off into the surrounding wilderness, following the only road for miles.
01:04We've put a lot of focus into making the world feel like an actual journey,
01:08where you never quite know what's waiting further down the road.
01:10The world is procedurally generated from multiple biomes to the buildings and the challenges that you'll encounter along the way.
01:17Throughout, you'll reach various structures.
01:19Here you'll need to scavenge for fuel and supplies to keep your vehicle and yourself going,
01:24while searching for any sign of Brian.
01:27And until you find him, there is only one thing to do. Keep driving.
01:34Physics play a major part of the game.
01:37Driving on slippery roads with various wheels and engines, all while hauling items, won't be easy.
01:42And even blizzards can mess with your loops and vehicles.
01:45To help you in this harsh environment, you have various vehicles and trailers.
01:50Hook up a trailer to your vehicle, and it becomes your mobile base where you can craft, cook and store
01:55items.
01:57And you don't have to face it alone. Arctic Drive can be played solo or up to 4 players.
02:02Which, depending on your friends, may or may not improve your chances of survival.
02:06This is only the beginning of the journey, and there's a lot more waiting further down the road.
02:10So get your car running, grab some supplies, and find out what happened to Brian.
02:16The Arctic Drive demo is available on October 8th.
02:19Let's stay warm and keep on driving.
