Two corporate figures who are also brothers have been released on Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) bail after being remanded over an investigation into alleged abuse of power and irregularities involving a RM10mil investment.

00:01Two corporate figures, who are also brothers, have been released on MACC bail after being
00:07remanded over an investigation into alleged abuse of power and irregularities involving
00:13a RM10 million investment.
00:15The two suspects, who hold the titles of Datuk Seri and Datuk, were detained on October 1.
00:22The brother with the Datuk title was released on October 5 after his remand period ended,
00:27while the Datuk Seri was released two days later.
00:31During the investigation, the MACC seized 15 luxury cars worth about RM31 million,
00:3812 high-powered motorcycles valued at about RM5 million,
00:42five luxury watches, three bracelets and about RM30,000 in cash.
00:48MACC also froze two personal bank accounts containing about RM2 million.
00:54The investigation is being conducted in connection with alleged irregularities
00:59and abuse of position involving the investment.
