YouTube records get completely out of hand here, from the first video ever uploaded to the most liked comment, the most subscribed channel, the shortest short, and the longest username on the platform. The video runs through a wild stack of internet milestones, including Baby Shark’s view count, BTS’s 24-hour record, MrBeast’s explosive subscriber growth, and strange corner cases like deleted channels, verified accounts with tiny followings, and the first YouTube comment in history.
Along the way, it dives into record-breaking creators, viral Shorts, the most commented videos, the longest upload ever, and even the first channel to hit major subscriber milestones. It’s part commentary, part internet history, and part absurd deep-dive into the weirdest corners of YouTube culture, with a fast-paced, comedic tone that keeps jumping from one unbelievable stat to the next.
If you enjoy YouTube records, internet history, creator milestones, viral video rankings, and commentary videos about platform stats, this is built for you. It also fits searches for YouTube world records, most viewed videos, most subscribed channels, YouTube Shorts records, and internet trivia.

00:00What is the most liked comment on a YouTube video?
00:02What is the longest username for a YouTube channel?
00:04What is the most liked video of all time?
00:06All of these questions will be answered today
00:08because we are taking a look at every single YouTube world record out there.
00:11The first video on YouTube, titled Me at the Zoo,
00:14which was created by the first channel to ever exist on YouTube,
00:16Jawed, which alludes to Jawed Kareem, which is one of the co-founders of YouTube.
00:20I've shown this video a billion times,
00:22but we'll just briefly go through it again because it's historical.
00:25It's literally just him chronicling,
00:26on April 23rd, 2005, himself at the San Diego Zoo.
00:30And he has gotten himself 4.34 million subscribers despite having a single upload.
00:34So here's the first video and the first channel.
00:37And speaking of Me at the Zoo,
00:38the most liked comment in history belongs to the San Diego Zoo,
00:43in which they said,
00:44we're so honored that the first ever YouTube video is filmed here.
00:47They got 3.4 million views, 500 replies.
00:49It overtook an old Seth Everman comment, which had like 3.2 million upvotes.
00:54It was like him talking about how he's bald or something.
00:56So this is now the new king of it.
00:57So this video has just got like a ton of history and lots of records.
01:01I mean, there's no surprise here,
01:02but Baby Shark is the video with the most views ever with 13.9 billion.
01:06I bet by the time you're watching this, we'll have 14 billion views,
01:09which is nearly double of the entire world's population.
01:12If we look at how many people have ever lived, 117 billion.
01:16So about 10% of all humans ever in history have watched Baby Shark.
01:20I think that's how that works.
01:21Predictably, this GTA 6 trailer has broken pretty much every single 24-hour record
01:26for the most views for a non-music video.
01:28And then when including music videos,
01:30the most viewed video over the course of 24 hours belongs to BTS's Butter,
01:34which got 100 million views in a single day.
01:37For this next one,
01:38I want to make it abundantly clear that this isn't me saying this.
01:41There's actually a YouTube records page that keeps track of every record.
01:44And the most subscribed criminal actually belongs to Sniperwolf.
01:47So she has 34.3 million subscribers and she went to jail for like domestic abuse
01:52and like a bunch of other things.
01:54I think she spent like a day or two in jail.
01:56Nothing crazy, but nonetheless, I guess she still has a criminal record.
02:00So the most subscribed criminal, pretty cool.
02:01Now you may be thinking to yourself that the most shared YouTube video of all time
02:04will naturally be the most viewed, which is Baby Shark again with 14 billion views.
02:08However, it doesn't even come close to the most shared YouTube video of all time,
02:12which belongs to...
02:15I'm not actually rickrolling you.
02:17Like this is, this is the one.
02:18Like this is the most shared video to ever be shared on any platform.
02:22Now I made a video where I watched the most viewed YouTube shorts of all time,
02:25but just to cut to the chase here,
02:27the most viewed YouTube short of all time belongs to Daniel LaBelle,
02:30who is this physical comedy shorts creator,
02:32who made a video with 1.4 billion views titled,
02:36If Cleaning Was a Time Sport Part 2.
02:39He made a sequel.
02:40And I guess sequels can be better than the original.
02:41Just so you could see it right here.
02:43There's a couple of videos that are close to it,
02:44but this right now has an extra 100, 200 million views.
02:47Now the YouTube channel with the most subscribers is T-Series,
02:49with 257 million subscribers at the time of this recording.
02:53Although MrBeast is only 27 million subscribers behind at 230 million,
02:57and I think he's gaining very quickly.
02:59Speaking of subscribers,
03:00the YouTube responsible for losing the most subscribers in a single day
03:03was James Charles, losing 1.2 million subscribers in 24 hours.
03:07And that's because of By Sister,
03:09which was a Tati Westbrook accusation video against James Charles,
03:13saying he's like lying about makeup,
03:14and then he's like a really bad person.
03:16Turns out one of those is true.
03:17However, he made quite the comeback,
03:19because one week later he made a video titled,
03:21No More Lies with 57 million views.
03:23And this goes down in history as some of the probably cringiest drama
03:26to ever exist on the platform,
03:28beauty drama.
03:28You may be wondering,
03:29what is this video that I'm watching titled,
03:31Good Times by Zubaz Pants?
03:33And why was this uploaded 18 years ago?
03:35What is this all about?
03:36Well, that's because on this video that we're watching right here lies
03:39the first YouTube comment to ever exist.
03:41And that comes from,
03:43da-da-da-da-da-da,
03:44MarcoCast69,
03:45who 18 years ago commented,
03:47LOL in all caps with multiple exclamation points,
03:50to the tune of 180k upvotes.
03:52And all these people understand that this is the first comment to ever exist on YouTube.
03:56So shout out to him.
03:56And this, I mean, this is a pretty cool video for 18 years ago.
03:59I found this pretty interesting,
04:00but the YouTube channel that earned the most subscribers in a single second
04:03is KZE TV that uploads like Brazil soccer highlights.
04:07They've gained 20,000 subscribers in a single second back in 2022.
04:11In fact, they gained 120,000 subscribers in a single minute.
04:15Sidemen Reacts is the fastest YouTube channel to reach 100,000 subscribers in just 55 minutes.
04:20But the fastest YouTube channel to gain 100,000 subscribers belongs to KZE TV,
04:24who did it in 44 seconds back when I said he gained 120,000 within the span of 60.
04:29But if we're going off of who gained the most subscribers in a single hour,
04:32that belongs to ISRO Official,
04:33which is the Indian Space Research Organization official YouTube channel,
04:37because they launched India going to the moon.
04:39This live stream had 27 million views.
04:41It looks like most of India tuned in,
04:43and then half a million people subscribed in a single hour.
04:45All I'm saying is that this is a prime opportunity
04:47to defeat the Indian Space Research Organization by subscribing right now.
04:51The biggest ratio in YouTube history actually belongs to YouTube themselves on the 2018 YouTube Rewind.
04:56If you don't know what a ratio is,
04:57it's basically when you have more dislikes than likes.
04:59And so this video has 20 million dislikes to 3.1 million likes,
05:03meaning that I got ratioed by about 6x, which is kind of crazy.
05:06But it's not that crazy when you realize it's the most disliked video to ever exist on the platform,
05:09which also is a record in and of itself.
05:11And I made an entire video on that too.
05:13The YouTube channel with the most links actually belongs to Wasp, who has 14 links.
05:18I think you're only allowed to have 6 or something.
05:20Apparently, he used to have 405 prior to YouTube creating this link feature,
05:24which I'm sure a lot of people aren't even aware they have now,
05:26but you can click on, like, associated links in somebody's bio.
05:29Yeah, he's got 13 links, and I think they're all to just, like, other YouTube channels.
05:33I mean, use your channel as you'd like.
05:35Tomi11 is one of the coolest stories on YouTube,
05:37because he's responsible for the most subscribers in a single day,
05:39with 2.8 million subscribers gained.
05:42He was a Chilean YouTuber.
05:44He unfortunately died at the age of 12 because of cancer,
05:46but he had a lot of support and people rallying behind him,
05:49and so you can see he has some very popular videos.
05:51His dream was to be a YouTuber, and I think he ultimately achieved that.
05:54So rest in peace to Tomi, and he's in the YouTube records book.
05:57The most viewed YouTube video to not have a title, or a thumbnail for that matter,
06:00belongs to Vsauce 12 years ago, who posted a video titled,
06:04Mmm.
06:04This is it.
06:05I'm not kidding.
06:06Like, literally, there is no title here.
06:08But when you click into it...
06:09Hey, Vsauce.
06:10Michael, here, coming to you from my hotel room in London.
06:13I like this.
06:13This is truly a...
06:15moment.
06:16You know, I gotta touch...
06:19Here's where it gets pretty crazy,
06:20but the most subscribers gained in a week was 7 million,
06:23which is a million per day by MrBeast, in October of 2023.
06:27Also in October of 2023, he had the most subscribers ever gained in a single month,
06:31at 18.3 million.
06:33I have no idea how that's possible, but he also, this year, is also responsible for the
06:37most subscribers ever gained in one year.
06:39Wait for it.
06:4099.6 million subscribers.
06:43You couldn't get 400,000 more?
06:45You couldn't make it around 100 million?
06:46Come on, MrBeast.
06:47But it seems they were a bit more generous, because in a 365-day period,
06:50he actually gained 100 million subscribers, and that was last year into this year.
06:55So it turns out MrBeast is a beast.
06:57Lots of subscribers.
06:58He's a very cool person.
06:59Nice.
06:59The oldest video to ever have a thumbnail belongs to Cinemassacre,
07:04Castlevania 2, Simon's Quest, Angry Video Game Nerd, AVGN.
07:08This was...
07:09I guess he created thumbnails back when thumbnails weren't even a thing.
07:12So this guy's way ahead of his time.
07:14It looks like he's still creating content, which is really cool for him.
07:16Yeah, this guy's a beast.
07:17Oh my gosh.
07:18He's getting 1.3 million views on, like, random videos.
07:22This is, no joke, one of the most important videos on the internet.
07:25I bet it is.
07:26I mean, Cinemassacre...
07:27I mean, this guy's a goat.
07:28All right, now let's look at the shortest YouTube video ever.
07:31Okay, so the shortest YouTube video, according to Google,
07:35says that this is it, Milo the Cat with 46 million views.
07:40All right, that was it.
07:41You know what's nice about using the Opera browser?
07:43There's no ads, because it has, like, that built-in ad blocker,
07:45which is really nice.
07:46I was actually testing it.
07:47There's this website where you can see how good the ad blocker is.
07:50This gives it an 84 out of 100 without even adding an extension.
07:53Then there's some other browsers, which they shall not be named,
07:5668 out of 100, and then even a bit worse, we have 25 out of 100.
08:01So Opera's pretty legit.
08:03Could this really be the shortest video, though?
08:04Let me check.
08:05So here's Aria.
08:06It's, like, the AI for Opera.
08:08It's kind of nice.
08:09You just, like, slide it out and can type.
08:10So what's the shortest possible YouTube video?
08:14Took it around one second.
08:15Okay.
08:16Oh, so actually, wait a second.
08:17Turns out this is wrong, because according to Aria, which is Opera's AI,
08:21world's shortest YouTube video is that short.
08:24Okay, let me check this out.
08:25Okay, so this video.
08:26Oh, my God.
08:27It just ends.
08:27You actually can't even play this video.
08:29So this is the world's shortest YouTube video.
08:32Shout out to Opera for their AI for actually helping me out with that.
08:35Some of the other cool features on the sidebar, other than the AI, is Facebook Messenger.
08:38You have WhatsApp, and then you also have a music player.
08:40And in addition to that, you also have Tab Island, which I think is a really unique part to this
08:44browser.
08:45So, for instance, if you want to take some of your tabs, and you just want to separate them out,
08:48for instance,
08:48you're just going to hold Control, bam, create a Tab Island.
08:51And so what you could do is, if you're a little sneaky fella, for instance, you can, bam, do that.
08:55And you could hide some tabs, or you just typically use it for grouping.
08:58And it's really easy to sort of move things in and out by just utilizing some of the click-throughs
09:02here.
09:02So go download the Opera desktop browser today.
09:05The link is in the description.
09:06It's free.
09:06It's super easy to use, and you won't regret it.
09:08The deleted YouTube channel with the most subscribers ever belongs to Happy Lives,
09:12which is impossible to find a video.
09:13So I'm just going to play some B-roll of it right here.
09:15They had 23.3 million subscribers at the time of termination.
09:19Just imagine that.
09:20You gain 23 million subscribers, and YouTube pulls the plug on you.
09:23But I think a bit more interestingly is the most subscribed, officially deleted YouTube channel,
09:27which belongs to a James Charles secondary account.
09:30And this is the name of it.
09:31It looks like the name of one of Elon Musk's children.
09:33The most liked community post to ever be posted on YouTube also belongs to MrBeast,
09:38who posted three years ago a very nice message.
09:41I love all of you, smiley face with a lot of closed parentheses, that got 2.8 million likes.
09:47That's more than, like, an Instagram post.
09:49The first YouTube channel to officially be terminated off the platform was William Fleitsch in March of 2006.
09:55If you're watching this, William, we miss you.
09:57Make another account.
09:57Come back.
09:58Maybe we can collab.
09:59That'd be kind of fun.
09:59The most subscribed deceased artist on the platform is XXXTentacion,
10:04who had nearly 40 million subscribers at the time of his death.
10:07And the most subscribed deceased individual YouTuber belongs to Technoblade,
10:10who now has 16.6 million subscribers.
10:13So rest in peace to both of them.
10:14The longest video to ever be uploaded to YouTube belongs currently to Arcadian Fish,
10:18who uploaded a video titled 223 hours in one video.
10:23And he wasn't lying.
10:24The video is 223 hours, 36 minutes, and 40 seconds.
10:28And it's very hard to scrub through because there's a lot of data here.
10:31But this is what the video looks like when you play it.
10:33F-25 key.
10:34Are you ready for this?
10:35Promise not to tell.
10:37I'm gonna hit the F-25.
10:38I will say it's interesting.
10:39It only seems to play nine hours.
10:42So I don't know what happens when you get to the end here.
10:44Oh, it resets.
10:45I think just YouTube glitches.
10:46Straight up, you're not gonna be able to, like, realistically play this video.
10:50Somebody else also uploaded this video and it goes to nine hours and seven minutes.
10:55I think that's what that means.
10:56Oh, it's nine days.
10:58Oh, wow.
11:00See, that is such a long video that it actually means that it's nine days,
11:04seven hours, 36 minutes, and 40 seconds.
11:06That's the longest video on YouTube.
11:07Let me know if you watched it.
11:08Now, there was a YouTube channel called Manoj Parahar.
11:10Maybe it was, like, an Indonesian channel that had 20.1 million subscribers
11:14and it was unverified somehow.
11:16And if you don't know how it works on YouTube,
11:18basically once you have around 100,000 subscribers,
11:20they'll reach out to you for some verification.
11:22So then your audience knows that it's your official channel.
11:24And I don't know why.
11:25I don't know the lore behind them.
11:26I think they're deleted off the platform.
11:28I've spent some time looking for them.
11:29But they're no longer there and they never got their verification.
11:32So, I mean, that's a pretty sad time to be on YouTube.
11:34Now, I found this one pretty hard to believe.
11:36But Twitch, the massive live streaming platform,
11:38is actually the YouTube channel with the least amount of subscribers to be verified
11:42with just 19,500 subscribers.
11:44Remember earlier I said 100,000?
11:46For some reason, they were able to get verification beforehand.
11:48And they're actually the smallest channel with verification.
11:51Probably because they don't post.
11:52I don't know why.
11:53Now, the slowest channel in history to ever reach 100,000 subscribers
11:56belongs to Geriatric1927,
11:58who took 6,011 days,
12:00which is just about 17 years,
12:02to gain 100,000 subscribers.
12:04The man behind the channel is named Peter Oakley.
12:06And unfortunately, he passed away about nine years ago.
12:08But I want to show you some of his videos
12:09because he's a very wholesome person.
12:11And you'll see why he gained 100,000 subscribers.
12:13Very deserving.
12:14Geriatric gripes and grumbles.
12:16My first attempt at video.
12:18I, um, I got addicted to YouTube.
12:21But as you can see,
12:23if this ever does get uploaded to YouTube,
12:26I need a lot of help.
12:27Doesn't need a lot of help.
12:28This man's a legend.
12:29100,000 subscribers.
12:30He got his plaque ultimately.
12:32Rest in peace to an absolute legend.
12:34And if you actually want to see his final video,
12:36so this is eight years after the video that we just watched,
12:38you'll see that he actually improved in front of the camera greatly,
12:41which goes to show that you can effectively get good
12:43at whatever it is that you're trying to get good at.
12:46Hello again.
12:46Well, I'd like to finish my little mini-series
12:50about telling about my life in the forces
12:53and what happened subsequently.
12:57He's in his commentary, Eric.
12:59Good background and everything.
13:00Here's how he signs off.
13:01That's it, really.
13:02And, um, uh, sort of in conclusion,
13:05uh, I would say my possibly final goodbye.
13:10So, goodbye.
13:11Very sad, but I'm glad he was able to create content
13:14on this platform and share it with all of us.
13:15So, he's a legend and a record holder.
13:17The first video to ever reach 1 million views
13:19was Ronaldino Touch of Gold.
13:21This one has 2.3 million views seven years ago.
13:23And it was a Ronaldino Nike commercial, I believe.
13:26There we go.
13:26Some gold Nike cleats.
13:28And then he straps them up.
13:29And I think some magic happens.
13:31All right, so he's all laced up.
13:32Let's see what he does here.
13:33He's gonna, like, kick the ball outside of the arena.
13:35Maybe he just juggles.
13:37I don't know how people...
13:38That is so impossible to me.
13:39I'm so bad with my feet.
13:41I'm good with my hands, bad with my feet.
13:42Yeah, see, like, I think that's CGI.
13:47If you can't see because of, like, how bad this quality is,
13:49he's basically, like, kicking the ball
13:51off the top of the goalpost.
13:52And then it's ricocheting back to him.
13:54And then he's, like, doing a header
13:56and then kicking it again.
13:57I think the crazy thing is, is, like,
13:58this may have happened.
14:00I don't know.
14:00Isn't he, like, a legend?
14:01I don't really watch soccer like that,
14:03but it's not that unbelievable.
14:05It's, like, if you gave him, like, a couple of days,
14:06maybe he could do this.
14:07So the first channel to ever reach 1,000 subscribers
14:09belongs to Smosh.
14:11The first channel to reach 10,000 belongs to Brookers.
14:13To reach 100,000 was also Smosh.
14:15To reach 1 million was Fred.
14:17Rest in peace to Fred.
14:18He's not dead.
14:19He just doesn't make Fred content anymore.
14:21The first to reach 10 million subscribers
14:22was also Smosh.
14:23They were the first to get 1,000, 100,000, and 10 million.
14:26Good on them.
14:27And then the first channel to reach 100 million,
14:28and then, of course, 200 million is T-Series.
14:31They're one of two channels
14:32that have 200 million subscribers.
14:33The shortest live stream in YouTube history
14:35belongs to Itch.io,
14:37which is a 0.6 second live stream,
14:39and it is of Peppa Pig.
14:42There it is.
14:43I mean, that's the shortest live stream
14:45that you can ever watch on YouTube.
14:460.6 seconds.
14:47Quality stream, the shortest live stream ever.
14:49Congrats, you broke the record.
14:50Yeah, he did something amazing right there.
14:52You may be wondering,
14:53Sam, why are you on the Jenny Ruby Jane
14:54official YouTube channel?
14:55You a Blackpink fan?
14:57The answer to that is yes,
14:58but it's also because she is the fastest channel
15:00to ever reach 1 million subscribers.
15:01It took her seven hours and she got here.
15:04So obviously, K-pop is absolutely massive,
15:06and it was reflected in her subscriber data
15:08because within the span of a quarter of a day,
15:10she gained 1 million subscribers.
15:12Wow.
15:13And while Jenny was the fastest channel
15:14to hit 1 million subscribers,
15:16the fastest to gain 1 million subscribers
15:18still belongs to Isro Official,
15:20which is the Indian Space Research Organization channel
15:22that live streamed India landing on the moon
15:24because they gained 1 million subscribers,
15:26wait for it,
15:27in one hour and 12 minutes.
15:29Then you have people grinding their entire lives
15:31and they can't get 1,000 subscribers.
15:33I guess the world's not fair.
15:34The YouTube video with the most comments
15:36actually belongs to Amir Tatalu,
15:38Yesaram Bema Bazan,
15:40which is maybe some like Arabic song,
15:42which I can't read.
15:43There's no shot I read this.
15:44Maybe somebody can interpret.
15:45That'd be very nice.
15:46Now, the funny thing is,
15:47this video has 1.8 million views,
15:50yet 19 million comments.
15:52I don't know how that's possible.
15:54I don't know if there's bots.
15:55I don't know if people are commenting 19 times
15:58despite only watching it once.
15:59I don't know if there's maybe more people flooding to this
16:01because there's a video out there
16:02that calls this the most commented video
16:04and people just comment and comment and comment,
16:05but this is the video.
16:06So if you want to leave your mark
16:07and say Sambucha sent you,
16:08this would be the video to do so.
16:09This next YouTuber named Tingman
16:11has the record for being the slowest channel
16:13to ever reach 1 million subscribers.
16:15Talk about perseverance.
16:16This should be something inspiring
16:17to everybody out there
16:18who thinks they should be giving up
16:19because after 6,300 days or 17 and a half years,
16:24Tingman finally reached 1 million subscribers.
16:26You could see his oldest video on the channel,
16:28McDonald's Aces, posted 17 years ago.
16:30And now you could see within his last five videos,
16:33he was celebrating 1 million subscribers.
16:35So shout out to him.
16:36Love seeing people who are actually doing
16:37what they love every single day,
16:39every single year of their life,
16:40and they eventually reach a goal that they had set.
16:42So good for him.
16:42He's gone through all the stages.
16:44Clearly he was doing some stuff with like cards
16:46and now he has like a family channel doing Rubik's Cube.
16:48Very wholesome.
16:48I love to see it.
16:49Going back to Isro Official
16:50and they have the record for the most viewed live stream.
16:53They had 8 million live viewers
16:54for the moon landing video in India.
16:57And Lo-Fi Girl has the most viewed stream of all time,
17:00period, with 668 million views on,
17:04is that a 20,000 hour live stream?
17:08I guess she was doing this for like multiple years.
17:10But they cut the feed, but guess what?
17:12She's back.
17:12This is what's happening right now on Lo-Fi Girl.
17:15So just this like loop in perpetuity.
17:16I've never actually looked around her room.
17:18It feels a little invasive,
17:19but okay, very Studio Ghibli.
17:20If I asked you,
17:21what is the fastest channel to reach 10 million subscribers?
17:24What would you say?
17:24Maybe you'd say like PewDiePie, Mr. Beast, Logan Paul,
17:27something like that.
17:28No, it actually belongs to Selena Depp.
17:31I think she's like a Belgian.
17:33I had no idea.
17:34That's crazy that I just guessed that.
17:35YouTube channel.
17:36And I don't know how she did this,
17:38but in 143 days,
17:40she gained 10 million subscribers.
17:41I mean,
17:42she has like a pretty massive football audience,
17:44but not that she should be gaining that many subscribers in six months.
17:47So it looks like her most popular shorts.
17:49I'm assuming these all happened over the course of like a couple of months.
17:53And yeah,
17:53this is well over three,
17:554 billion views from her shorts.
17:56That's the power of shorts.
17:57Post them.
17:58If you don't have a YouTube channel,
17:59post some shorts.
17:59You get paid for them.
18:00You get subscribers off of them and they're fun.
18:02They're good for visibility.
18:03And you could cross post on multiple platforms.
18:05She did it.
18:06And yeah,
18:06this is the moment in which she got it.
18:08That's just crazy.
18:08She went from zero to 10 million.
18:11Oh my,
18:11she got to a million in a month.
18:12Good for her.
18:13And while she was the fastest channel to first get to 10 million subscribers,
18:16the fastest channel to actually gain 10 million subscribers is Mr.
18:19Beast at some point last year.
18:21It took him nine days to gain 10 million subscribers.
18:23So more than a million subscribers a day for almost two weeks.
18:27He's a crazy man.
18:28Now YouTube shorts only came out,
18:29I believe in 2020,
18:30but the first YouTube short to ever exist on the platform is by Lee Broski.
18:34So happy to be back home dance from July 21st,
18:382005.
18:39So let's look at this.
18:39I've never watched this before.
18:40There's no sound or anything,
18:42but there it is.
18:43So happy to be home.
18:44Do your dance.
18:46Cut the cameraman.
18:48Come on,
18:48cut it,
18:48cut it.
18:49There we go.
18:49And the comments know it too.
18:51The oldest unintentional YouTube short.
18:53Wow.
18:53Look at the,
18:54the person who made this is engaging.
18:56I was in my early twenties when I made this.
18:58Just think about that.
18:58Oh my gosh.
18:59So she's 40 now.
19:00She's 40 years old.
19:01This person in the video,
19:02the oldest short,
19:03you must be very proud and came a long way.
19:04Congrats.
19:05Jeez,
19:0617 years ago.
19:07So she must be 40,
19:0841,
19:0942.
19:09That's going to be really weird.
19:10Like when I look back on my first video and stuff,
19:13when I'm like 50 years old,
19:14I'm going to say,
19:14oh my gosh,
19:15I wonder if I'll still be making videos when I'm 50.
19:17Depends.
19:17Maybe if you subscribe,
19:18I'll still be here.
19:19The slowest YouTube channel to gain 10 million subscribers actually belongs to Rubius.
19:23And if you don't know who Rubius is,
19:24he is actually a streamer,
19:26I believe from Spain.
19:27And he still uploads videos.
19:29So his first video was 17 years ago.
19:31He seems to be a frequent uploader.
19:33And he ultimately reached 10 million subscribers pretty recently.
19:36I'd say within the last year and his latest videos,
19:38you can see,
19:39they still do super well.
19:40He's got a massive audience and he is a killer.
19:43So good for him.
19:43The most viewed age restricted video belongs to daddy Yankee featuring Ozuna,
19:48La Rompe Correzones.
19:49And it's age restricted,
19:51but I'm signed in.
19:52I'm 18.
19:52So,
19:53but you'll see here,
19:53notice age restricted.
19:55So if you're not signed in,
19:56for instance,
19:56it will say like,
19:57oh,
19:57you must be 18 plus to view this.
19:58And I guess there's a lot of people who are 18 plus that want to see this video.
20:01So I don't think you could even see this video because then it's going to make my video 18 plus.
20:05So let's just say you didn't see anything.
20:07Look it up on your own watch.
20:08Maybe there's some crazy things going on in here.
20:10The most liked YouTube video of all time is Desposito with 52.1 million likes.
20:15And the most liked non-music video belongs to Mr. Beast,
20:18but not for a video that you may think.
20:19It's actually for Would You Fly to Paris for a Baguette,
20:21which is a short with 1.1 billion views that has gotten at this point 44 million likes.
20:27So I think over time,
20:28this will be the most liked video to ever exist on YouTube.
20:31Probably only a matter of a couple of years till it happens.
20:33The most subscribed to inactive YouTube channel belongs to Ola Soy German,
20:37which has 44 million subscribers.
20:39He walked away about seven years ago and he continues to be a powerhouse,
20:43just raking in tens of millions of views per month.
20:45The widest video on YouTube belongs to Mr. Sheesh,
20:48which is self-titled the most widest video on YouTube.
20:51And it's actually, you'll see if you just compare all the other videos,
20:54this is actually the widest.
20:55Like it's going the entire length of my 4K screen, this is stretching out.
20:59So it must have like 4K pixels or something.
21:01It's very wide.
21:01If you're on your phone right now,
21:02go to your desktop or your laptop or something,
21:04just so you can appreciate how wide this is.
21:06The most subscribed to channel that has never uploaded a YouTube short is PewDiePie,
21:10which means he gained 111 million subscribers only from his long form content,
21:15which I mean, looking back, that's wild.
21:16I know he got a lot of subscribers because he was the most subscribed person.
21:20It's kind of like when you're famous for being famous, like the Kardashians.
21:23You just don't know why.
21:24But regardless, that is a lot of people to just get from your like eight minute videos.
21:28The YouTube channel that makes the most money is MrBeast,
21:30who according to Forbes made $82 million last year through YouTube and his own company.
21:35And what this doesn't factor in is his worth in his companies like Feastables,
21:39which he probably has equity totaling like three, $400 million.
21:41So I think everything added up last year, he probably made like half a billion dollars.
21:45Although Logan Paul and KSI probably got pretty close as well.
21:48This one's kind of crazy, but the YouTube channel with the most subscribers
21:51that doesn't have a name belongs to like, I don't know how to say it.
21:55Like it's nothing.
21:56How do you say nothing?
21:57The ad is Angel404.
21:58So I guess I'll call him Angel404.
22:01But Angel has 1.39 million subscribers and is verified,
22:05but doesn't have an actual name.
22:06It's literally blank.
22:07I mean, I guess you could highlight.
22:08You could see that it's like a space is the name.
22:10And the videos I was looking, they do super well.
22:13Like this person gets millions of views on every video they post.
22:16So I guess they're actually like a YouTuber.
22:17Cool.
22:18I just don't know what to call you.
22:19If you thought that was crazy,
22:20the YouTube channel with the longest username belongs to this,
22:23which is 450 characters.
22:25The normal limit is 50 characters, but there's a way to bypass it with code.
22:29But YouTube hasn't detected it yet.
22:30And so this channel still exists.
22:32And the full username, you ready for it?
22:33What you know about rolling down in the deep when your brain goes numb,
22:37you can call that mental freeze.
22:38When these people talk too much, put that in slow motion.
22:41Yeah, I feel like an astronaut in the ocean.
22:43Hey, what you know about rolling down in the deep when your brain goes numb,
22:47you can call that mental freeze.
22:48When these people talk too much, put that slow motion.
22:51Yeah, I feel like an astronaut in the ocean.
22:53She say that I'm cool.
22:55I'm like, yeah, that's true.
22:56Believe in God.
22:57Don't believe in thoughts.
22:58She keep playing me dumb.
22:59I'm a player for fun.
23:00Y'all don't really.
23:01That's the entire name.
23:03So whenever you address this person, make sure you say their full name.
23:05And what I didn't mention is that there's actually somebody else,
23:08one other channel that also has 450 characters as their username.
23:11And so it'd be unfair if I didn't give them a proper shout out for being the most characters
23:15in a username.
23:16And that belongs to,
23:17Hello, Mr. JackSucksAtLife.
23:19I have made this username longer than Jack's epic YouTube channel,
23:22full of fun times and hi, Rick X.
23:24This username is going to be 450 characters long.
23:26So yes, it'll be very, very, very long.
23:28And did I mention it's longer than your other channel?
23:29Called Jack's epic YouTube channel, full of fun times and fun, hi, Rick X.
23:33Oh, wait, I just remembered I did well.
23:35Anyways, I will make this long by spamming turdboy.
23:37So let's do that.
23:38Turdboy, turdboy, turdboy, turdboy, turdboy.
23:40Great channel.
23:41Gotta say, I love it.
23:42Big fan.
23:43Going back to, I don't know how to say his name.
23:45His name is Angel, at least his handle is.
23:47He doesn't have an actual username, but he's verified.
23:49He also has the record for the most votes in a community poll with 7.5 million.
23:54I mean, now we're talking like country elections at that point.
23:57He said, what battery is your phone on with a battery emoji to which he had a binary
24:00choice of 100% or less?
24:02And after 60,000 people commented and again, 8 million people voted, what is the answer?
24:07My phone is on 58%.
24:09Okay, that makes sense.
24:11Most people aren't on 100%.
24:12Why would you be?
24:13On YouTube, you don't always need to make visible the amount of views that a video has, but we
24:17do know somehow, I think people have like backend technology that the most viewed video that
24:21doesn't show its views is John Lennon's Google Doodle.
24:25So here's a little look at this.
24:26A lot of people don't like this for some reason.
24:27I think they actually use this for like, you know, like on Google, they celebrate certain
24:32days and they like make the Google font like that.
24:34Well, this is one of the examples of what they use.
24:36Now, the most views for any channel belongs to T-Series by far with 243 billion views.
24:42I wonder what the AdSense is on that.
24:44It's got to be billions of dollars.
24:46I mean, you could see they've uploaded 20,000 videos and some of their most popular have
24:49billions and billions of views.
24:51So no surprise there.
24:52The most views gained in a single day belongs to Sony SAB.
24:55Again, like another music channel for Indians and it gained 18.8 billion views in a single
25:01day.
25:01However, it's only because the channel was delisted and then relisted.
25:05And so it was able to eat up all 18 billion of its views that it previously lost.
25:09But the YouTube channel that gained the most views organically over the course of 24 hours
25:13belongs to Supersonic from Unity that I'm looking at this now.
25:16They uploaded a 21 second clip of Join Clash, a mobile game that got 1.8 billion views and
25:221.2 billion of these views were in a single day.
25:25Now, I don't want to call them out or anything, but there is no way they did not pay for
25:29every
25:29single one of those views.
25:30That does not make much sense.
25:32Let's look into this actually.
25:33All right, Join Clash, the best mobile game.
25:35It only has 926 comments.
25:37This video you're watching right now, look how many views this video has at the time of
25:41you watching this.
25:42And then look how many comments.
25:43I would wager there's more comments on this video.
25:46So that's all you need to know as to why this video is probably bought.
25:49Okay, so I mean, it looked kind of fun, I suppose.
25:51There's not even a description.
25:52You would think if you paid for 1.85 billion views, you would at least put a link to the
25:56game in the description.
25:57Where am I supposed to pay?
25:58And look at this.
25:59It's like they bought like a bunch of Korean spammers.
26:02Okay, this person confirms it.
26:04This got over 1.2 billion views in a month thanks to YouTube ads.
26:07It actually got in the first day.
26:08Yeah, as this guy calls it out.
26:10There we go.
26:10You're not going to believe what I'm about to tell you, but the YouTube channel with the most
26:13uploads ever is Rolvan Depar, who is a American channel that uploaded 2 million videos onto
26:21his channel.
26:22Even recently, go to his channel 5 minutes ago, 27 minutes ago.
26:25And the kicker is he actually talks in all of his videos.
26:29He's not just a bot.
26:31I think he's Australian.
26:32If you click on popular videos, it freezes the app.
26:35You can't use YouTube on browser.
26:37And I have like a really good graphics card and connection.
26:39It won't even process because there's 2 million videos to go through in the library.
26:43This guy has so many videos, it is unfathomable.
26:46Just to put this in perspective, there's about 2.6 million seconds in a single month.
26:51So let's say in four weeks, there's around 2 million seconds.
26:53What you'd have to do to have the same amount of videos as Rolvan Depar is upload a video
26:58every single second for four weeks.
27:00Upload a video.
27:00Upload a video.
27:01Upload a video.
27:02Upload a video.
27:03Upload a video.
27:04Upload a video.
27:04Upload a video.
27:05Upload a video.
27:06That's eight videos.
27:07He has 2 million.
27:08We didn't even scratch the surface.
27:09Do this for four weeks straight.
27:11Do it for February.
27:12Imagine that.
27:12This guy's a beast.
27:13It still hasn't loaded.
27:14If somebody's able to figure out what his most popular video is, can somebody please
27:17just tell me because my computer is about to die.
27:19There's no shot that it'll be able to get this.
27:21Anyways, that's a lot of records.
27:22I hope you guys enjoyed.
27:23Maybe we can set some sort of record for the most subscribers gained in a single video.
27:27That would be cool.
27:27Probably won't happen.
27:28But you should subscribe anyways on your way out.
27:30Otherwise, you can watch this video or this video and I will see you next time.
27:32Peace.
