03:52Ok.
03:54All right.
03:56For example, when Teton wrestled El Lindemann the other night,
04:01the strategy of the match was pretty basic.
04:06Lindemann was going to control the center of the ring,
04:09Teton the edge of the ring, the outside of the ring, the ropes.
04:17And I hope Teton knows, ew.
04:22Even Fantasma doesn't know what to do.
04:25Marty Asami wants nothing to do with it.
04:30Well, ruining that shirt.
04:33Teton apologetic as well.
04:38All right, so now we're ready to go.
04:41Count up a tie up.
04:44Let's see if Fantasma plays into the hang of Teton as well.
04:49Trying to show off and showboat beat one of the best luchadors in CMLL at his own game.
05:04Using ropes for leverage, hammerlock, side headlock.
05:08After the nice escape by Fantasma.
05:17Snap bear and a rear chin lock.
05:27John grabbing a hold of the ankle.
05:30As he now with the snap bear.
05:33Uh-oh.
05:35Fantasma finds his shoulders down and able to escape.
05:40So wouldn't that be interesting?
05:42What the hell was that?
05:46Stupid Lucho Louvre.
05:49What was that, Manny?
06:02What the hell was that?
06:10Stupid Lucho Louvre.
06:12What was that, Manny?
06:13Neil Peay answers with a shoulder block.
06:18Drop down, but Fantasma looking to walk his way to victory here this afternoon.
06:31The hot dog almost paid for it.
06:43And Teton charging in wildly.
06:45Lucho Louvre lands on the apron.
06:48Oh, brother.
06:51And Tazma whacked.
06:56Lucho Louvre.
06:58Watch out.
06:59Makin Jushushun Thunderlighter's gonna get you some trouble.
07:02Springboard cross body.
07:05And the drop kick out to the floor.
07:11Teton.
07:15Yes.
07:16C'est incensé El Fantasmo.
07:22Look at the look on his face.
07:30Shingo likes it, I like it too.
07:33Teton, don't turn your back.
07:34Oh, Matrix-like escape there.
07:41Got him on the right side with that kick.
07:44Fantasmo reversing.
07:45Teton up and over.
07:47Fantasmo crashes into the turnbuckle.
07:51Winds and fires and it's dead.
07:53It's going to be Teton now who takes the trip to the ropes.
08:03Yes, sir.
08:04Listen to this crowd, man.
08:06They love it.
08:17Oh, no.
08:19First kick into the midsection and a DDT on the floor.
08:23Oh.
08:26And that immediately shuts down the enthusiasm from the crowd here in Akita.
08:33They were ooh-ing and aah-ing.
08:39What a great pairing this is.
08:41I'm glad these two are in the same block that we do get to see.
08:46El Fantasmo versus Teton.
08:48It's one of the real joys of this tournament historically.
08:53Not only, you know, champions from different organizations,
08:55athletes from different promotions, but styles.
08:59Styles make matches.
09:01And a kick out.
09:04And we criticize Fantasmo so much for all the gifts that he has physically.
09:09and a lot of times it's nonsense, back rakes, et cetera.
09:14Just frustrates you to no end.
09:17But then we get to see his high-flying ability and his power.
09:22I'm telling you what, man.
09:24Fantasmo has been putting the work in.
09:26and this stalling vertical suplex.
09:35Could lead to victory.
09:55Stomping on the fingers with the heel of his boot.
09:58No, no, no.
10:01Back up there.
10:03And repeatedly now.
10:14No, no, no, no.
10:20No, bro.
10:22No, no.
10:23Hey, now.
10:32Now let's see what Fantasmo can do.
10:37And then it rakes the back.
10:43All those gifts.
10:47Just rake his back if you want to rake his back.
10:58Amazing.
11:04Wow.
11:05In the world.
11:06Oh, my goodness.
11:08Uh-oh.
11:10Itan knocks the block out from underneath.
11:13Side of the head at the enziguri.
11:14One, two, one, two, three.
11:24Jeweled mask.
11:25You can hear it.
11:28And hey, trying, but can't execute the Rana.
11:33And now, uh-oh.
11:35Oh, and he got it that time.
11:38Fantasmo was looking for a powerbomb.
11:40The time would have none of it.
11:48Frost kicking heavy-duty.
11:56Back drop.
12:06Frost kick.
12:07Nope.
12:08Different angles, came up empty, there's a thrust kick to the gut, oh it's a short tornado DDT, Fantasmo bounces
12:17on his head, and all the way through the ropes and out to the floor, what a powerful move by
12:23Teton.
12:30Look out below, ooh, top rope, ah so he moves all the way down.
12:44Goal!
12:45One, two, three, four, five, six, six, six, nine, ten, eleven, twenty, seven, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten,
13:08ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten.
13:08Mozehead, roll's him in.
13:13And the landing took something out of Teton as well.
13:16How could it not?
13:17My goodness, what a collision.
13:20Springboard double stomp, let's see.
13:26Teton adjusts, on to the backdrop.
13:28Sunset flip, no.
13:29Fantasmo.
13:30No, no, no, no, no.
13:31Power here, tried the powerbomb earlier on.
13:36Sous-titrage Société Radio-Canada
14:04Teton, oh, come on now, Teton scoreless thus far, but if Fantasmo was to remove the mask, he'd get disqualified.
14:18And it would be a victory for Teton.
14:28Loosening the laces and what's he trying to do here?
14:34He's not trying to remove the mask.
14:36Wait a minute, wait a minute.
14:44If Fantasmo removes that mask, he would get DQ'd.
14:48He's got half the laces open.
14:55How about that, Teton bouncing back up.
15:01Connecting, Enziguri.
15:05Yes, sir, Death Valley driver out of the corner.
15:08Leg hooked, deer leg hooked in a near fall.
15:10Oh, my goodness.
15:20Jump into that short thrust kick.
15:23Launching Fantasmo.
15:24Neutral corner to corner.
15:30And now, Teton, with a head of steam, winds and fires and scores.
15:45Springboard, double stomp, got it.
15:48Oh, but he can't follow up, can't follow up.
15:54Now, he's got it, both legs, Teton's first win.
15:57Oh, so close.
16:01So much of Teton's most recent success in CMLL has been predicated with him.
16:09In that double stomp, Fantasmo was able to kick out of it.
16:14And it doesn't mean he can't try it again or even go bigger, perhaps.
16:24Uh-oh, wait a minute.
16:26Watch out.
16:27Fantasmo lands on his feet.
16:29Now, he's going to look to spin Teton around.
16:33The U-F-O.
16:38Teton is down.
16:40Fantasmo on top two and a kick out.
16:44And it is a good one, for sure.
17:02And the boot's no longer loaded, but it's still a potent weapon.
17:08Caught.
17:08Sudden death.
17:10Back.
17:10No.
17:11Caught by Teton.
17:16Oh, brother.
17:18Oh, brother.
17:25And there will be, will escape this time.
17:32Down to a D.
17:38And now the leg hook two.
17:41And he, no.
17:42Oh, wow.
17:43Oh, wow.
17:53Teton using his power to nearly put Fantasmo away.
17:58Again, Teton is looking for his first win in this year's tournament.
18:07Wait a minute, wait a minute.
18:09Wait a minute, wait a minute.
18:10He's just pulled the mask off of him.
18:12He's saying he, he didn't mean to.
18:19And Marty Asami, I guess, with the judgment to not disqualify Fantasmo, thrust kick there.
18:28And now from the thrust kick into CR2, see you later.
18:35So, boy, did El Fantasmo dodge a bullet to it's over.
18:42By all rights, he could have, should have been disqualified.
18:48I guess in the judgment of referee Marty Asami, the intent wasn't there.
19:07He's not sorry.
19:08He did it on purpose.
19:11He loosened the laces earlier on.
19:21Well, I disagree with that call.
19:23I think El Fantasmo should have been disqualified.
19:32Reno, six points.
19:42Teton still winless.
19:44I'm sure he didn't want to win by disqualification, but he also, yeah.
19:59Yeah, you notice he's not coming over and crowing about it.
20:02He's going to walk away.
20:03Accidental.
20:05Accidental.
20:06That was a bad call.
20:08Well, we'll see what happens with Fantasmo versus Doki.
20:15Sorry.
20:22Can't wait to see Teton versus TJP coming up on Tuesday night.
20:30Hell of an effort by Teton.
20:33Man, he's good.
20:36He would have been in the best of Super Junior last few years,
20:39not for the pandemic, but I think everybody in Akadu would agree
20:45and the fans of Corka will agree on Tuesday night.
20:48We want to see more Teton.
20:49Teton.
20:50He was terrific.
20:51Should be a great.
