00:45and political questions of our time, including the work of promoting peace among peoples.
00:54The interdependence of these questions has become even more evident today, always under
01:01the light of God's word.

01:06Looking attentively at what has happened can help us recognize more deeply a growing distance
01:14has emerged between the ways in which sex and intimacy are lived and the Christian vision
01:20of marriage.
01:20Young people continue to long for love, fidelity and belonging, yet many find it difficult
01:28to embrace how such a vision of love can take shape in their own lives or to believe that
01:34a lifelong commitment is the condition for reaching what they desire.
01:40economic insecurity, migration, violence, loneliness, and other forms of emotional fragility also
01:49shape the choices people make and the possibilities they can imagine for their future.
01:56As pastors, we have received the responsibility in season and out of season.

02:09another when life no longer corresponds to what had been hoped for and whether we can recognize
