00:00To Wembley, few would argue with that, but Burton Albion has plenty in this one for them.
00:06They'll be looking to park what happened at the Etihad and enjoy the fact they're here.
00:10There is the only survivor among the new, Captain Lucas Aikens, who started on the left wing in the first
00:15leg.
00:17As promised Pep Guardiola does include a few new faces here tonight, but they're blended with some of the All
00:23-Stars.
00:23Kevin De Bruyne starts here at the Pirelli Stadium, as does last summer's club record signing Riyad Mahrez
00:29and all-time records for Aguero.
00:40Delph.
00:44Before he couldn't stop Mahrez, who fired it across the face of goal.
00:48There's maybe a bit of good fortune in the ball breaking the way of Riyad Mahrez.
00:52The thick of the action right from the off.
00:54That crossfield ball played a number of times, primarily by Fabian Delph.
00:58He's certainly onside when it's played.
01:01Dropping over the head of a left-back is a nightmare situation.
01:03There's no one really for Mahrez to pick out.
01:06Sergio Aguero is maybe shouting at him to pull this ball back towards him.
01:10But in this type of position you can understand Mahrez.
01:12Going for goal, just didn't get the bend on the ball.
01:20Touch from Boyce, and Morich has to fall on it at full stretch.
01:24Well, Morich is a giant goalkeeper, 6'5", but the problem is here, all the pace is actually taken off
01:29the ball with the flick from Boyce.
01:31That makes it a more comfortable save for the goalkeeper.
01:34He can get maybe less of a touch on it, keep the pace on the ball, could be past the
01:37keeper before he can react.
01:41All the defenders hop up in a different set of positions.
01:45Bowden to Mahrez, he's got Aguero, manoeuvring into position.
01:48Mahrez takes it on himself, and that whistles wide at the Burton Albion goal.
01:52This is where he's so dangerous when he drops his shoulder onto his favoured left foot.
01:57You know what he's going to do, but it's so hard to stop him, as he just manipulates that ball
02:00so quickly.
02:02He travels so well with the ball.
02:04That's what that shot he had earlier, just can't get it to move back towards the goal enough.
02:08But he's been a real live wire.
02:11Damien McCrory.
02:12Increasingly difficult to keep your footing out there.
02:15One thing I think it's fair to say neither manager would want is if it does get cold, or when
02:20it does get colder,
02:21look as the temperature continues to drop, and it's for this match not to be finished.
02:25Here's Ria Mahrez.
02:26Back to Sergio Aguero, and there's the first goal of the night.
02:30The number 10, getting number 10 in the tie.
02:34The aggregate lead is stretched, and Manchester City find their way through.
02:39Well, that's a stunning goal.
02:40This is why Kevin De Bruyne is playing at the base of the midfield,
02:43to pull the strings, to play those killer forward passes.
02:47When he gets on the ball, he makes things happen.
02:49And Mahrez has been heavily involved in the opening 25 minutes.
02:53He could take his man on, does the unselfish thing, lays the ball back.
02:57The movement of Aguero again, he doesn't go in on the edge of the six-yard box where defenders are.
03:01He just holds off.
03:02This is what Aguero is the master of.
03:04He doesn't go up against defenders, he finds space so effectively.
03:07And that's why he scores so many goals.
03:10Brilliant pick-out from Mahrez.
03:15Now to the experience, Scott's from Templeton.
03:17Now McCrory.
03:18Here's Will Miller.
03:20Not a bad effort.
03:21BBC production, I'm told.
03:24Here's Sinchenko.
03:25Cut back to Delph.
03:27There from Maguero.
03:28Lovely dip of the shoulder, but the flag's...
03:31Boys providing a one-man wall.
03:33He thinks there should be a few more in there with him.
03:35It's now two.
03:39Touch to Lebrana.
03:41He looks to put it in behind for Garcia.
03:45He just doesn't make decent contacts on it.
03:47He gets away from Lucas Aikens far too easily.
03:49He should really be touched tight with him.
03:52Just gets caught flat.
03:55Going low, leading Templeton in the heap and making good progress forward.
03:58There's Delph, didn't catch it right first time.
04:00And the second one blocked behind by Lucas Aikens.
04:03The last touch came off Delph and has gone for a goal kick.
04:06He's very fortunate to get a second bite of the cherry here.
04:09He's on his left foot.
04:10It's a different story.
04:11Bit of a swing and a miss there from Clevian Delph.
04:14Crates kindly for him, but Bradley Collins has done well.
04:17He's got that near post.
04:19The ball could easily have been smuggled past him.
04:29Mahrez.
04:30Mahrez.
04:36Bruno Fidel for Foden.
04:39Nearly for Aguero.
04:49Here's Foden.
04:51Looks for the cutback for Aguero.
04:53And unbelievably, he's pushed it wide, Sergio Aguero.
04:57The sort of chance that he usually gobbles up.
05:00It's a similar kind of build-up to the first goal.
05:02De Bruyne are involved.
05:04Great vision, great way of pass.
05:06He is offside when that ball is played.
05:07The goal wouldn't have stood or shouldn't have stood.
05:10Aguero took it home, but that is amazing.
05:12When he gets into that position away from defenders, normally passes the ball home.
05:17And for once, gets his angles wrong.
05:26And the match-up.
05:29Here's Mahrez.
05:31Worked that really neatly to the Nilo.
05:34Have been a league side.
05:39Wolt's lengthen itself to Boyce.
05:41Mouric with the save.
05:43Miller blocked on the line by Garcia.
05:45There's actually should be two great chances in there.
05:47There's just a heavy touch, I think, from Liam Boyce.
05:52Sandler with the slip.
05:53That's where it all starts.
05:54There's a slightly heavy touch when it comes off his toe there.
05:57So Boyce can't score.
05:59And then Will Miller.
06:00Has actually got his back to goal.
06:02Doesn't want to take a touch.
06:03Wants to strike it first time.
06:04So it's really hit and hope.
06:06Two City defenders.
06:07It's just a question of consistency.
06:10He's been pretty happy with what he's seen at the top end of the pitch.
06:12But individual and collective defensive mistakes
06:15as what Nigel Clough has felt has been costing them.
06:19Here's Fox looking for Harness.
06:21Out comes Mouric Bravely.
06:37Aikens.
06:39Which was with real pace.
06:42That hit wide.
06:49Looks like the quest for a Burton goal will prove elusive.
06:53But the quest to emerge with pride intact.
06:57It's looking pretty good at the moment.
06:59Here's Danilo.
07:03It's come to Jesus.
07:04Flag stays down.
07:05Still Jesus.
07:07Smothered behind by Collins.
07:10He just couldn't really get the ball out of his feet.
07:11He'd be able to get it back onto his left foot.
07:13But the goalkeeper does really well.
07:16He stays big.
07:17He steps in at just the right time when Jesus is looking to shoot.
07:21They should really clear their lines.
07:22But he's got himself to blame.
07:23He's definitely onside.
07:24Aikens is playing him on.
07:26And he shifts onto his left foot.
07:27How quickly Collins gets out to him.
07:29That's what you have to do.
07:31Close the gap on the striker.
07:34So the keeper's had a bad game in either game.
07:38Danilo has prevailed.
07:41In his first of the season at Huddersfield at the weekend.
07:45And he tests Collins there who tips it over for a corner.
07:50It's a great strike.
07:51But Bradley Collins has read this.
07:52He's on the move.
07:53That's a save he should make.
07:56Yes.
07:57And the head of Fox.
07:58His harness to give chase.
08:02Tech Guardiola and Manchester City are on their way back to Wembley to defend the Carabao Cup.
08:08I think we've known that for a while really.
08:10Since early on in the first leg at the Etihad.
08:13That's that's an album.
