00:02Ladies and gentlemen,
00:04the following contest scheduled for one fall is for
00:08the World Wrestling Federation Championship.
00:13Yeah, all right then, here we go.
00:17Coming down the aisle is the challenger from Calgary,
00:23I'll prove it to you,
00:25the most honored WWF champion in history,
00:29the Hitman Red Heart.
00:35The Hitman Red Heart, ladies and gentlemen,
00:39the most honored WWF champion in history.
00:44The Hitman Red Heart has won all three WWF total champs indeed,
00:50yet powerless appropriately signed for the Hitman.
00:54The Hitman has been a tag team champion,
00:57an intercontinental champion, the WWF title holder not once.
01:01But he's gained those accolades, all of them on two different occasions.
01:05An unbelievable effort,
01:08an unbelievable history behind this man and his entire family.
01:13I don't want to give-
01:14Scents of execution.
01:15Well, I don't like him or his family, but I will give the devil his due.
01:19He's probably the most, I guess I'll say, he's probably the most-
01:23He's the most celebrated, for sure.
01:25Well, he's that, and maybe the most excellent wrestler, technically sound.
01:30Let me put it that way, in the World Wrestling Federation.
01:33I don't want to give him too much credit.
01:34The Hitman Red Heart, ladies and gentlemen,
01:36ready to lock up tomorrow at 17 of Big Daddy Cool Diesel.
01:45The Hitman, with a victory last Monday night over Double J, Jeff Jarrett.
01:50Raising any thought that he might have some ring rust because of that long layoff.
01:55It was Red's first match last Monday night since he lost the title.
02:01You know what's going through his mind right now?
02:03He's thinking, thinking about Diesel, how big and tall he is.
02:06And he's wondering, can I get the sharpshooter on those huge legs of Diesel?
02:11And he's about to find out, look at this.
02:15They call him Big Daddy Cool.
02:17He's the reigning World Wrestling Federation Champion.
02:22Look out!
02:25My goodness, his opponent.
02:27The man has the truck to get through the opening there.
02:32Ladies and gentlemen, here he is, Big Daddy Cool.
02:37Big Daddy Cool Diesel.
02:42Wow, Big Daddy Cool Diesel, winning the title from Bob Backlund in a record setting.
02:49Eight seconds in Madison Square Garden back in November.
02:53I can tell you this will be no eight-second match up here.
02:57A most determined Diesel.
03:00And just as much as he is determined to hang on to the WWF title,
03:06you can bet that Bret just determined to take it away from him.
03:11Big Daddy Cool.
03:14Big Daddy Cool, we said before, inviting Lawrence Taylor, number 56 New York Giants.
03:22Not that last Wednesday night, 75th anniversary of the NFL.
03:30Just a little more emotional support, right?
03:34A little, maybe to get the psychological edge.
03:37Stepping over the top, something you couldn't do in your wildest imagination, King.
03:42Big Daddy Cool, bring it up against the Hitman Breton, guys!
03:50Oh, my!
03:52Oh, yeah!
03:58And the Hit accolades of the Hitman, well, you just can't deny those accolades,
04:04nor can you deny the accolades of Big Daddy Cool Diesel, because he has won all three.
04:09Titles available to men, the tag team, and the championship itself.
04:14But he's done it all inside one year.
04:17That's something else no one has ever done.
04:19Won all three titles inside of one year.
04:22So obviously, Diesel with unbelievable momentum coming into this matchup here tonight.
04:29Before this capacity crowd in the Sun Dome, we are live, ladies and gentlemen,
04:32here at the Royal Rumble in Tampa, Florida.
04:36Well, all I can say, McMahon, gonna go ahead and go out on a limb.
04:41Give you a royal prediction.
04:42Go ahead.
04:44What is the royal prediction?
04:46Simply because.
04:48Is that a handshake?
04:49No, that wasn't a handshake.
04:52Sort of semblance of respect, I think, more than anything else.
04:57I think because of experience and past history, even though I don't like him,
05:02I'm going with the Hitman Bret Hart.
05:04That's my royal prediction.
05:06They last met.
05:08Well, there you see the power of Big Daddy Cool Diesel.
05:13Both individuals know what they have to do.
05:16Quick go-behind there by the Hitman Bret Hart.
05:19Waste lock.
05:21And going for the leg, and Diesel is so tall, ladies and gentlemen,
05:25he can reach for that rope almost at midpoint in the ring.
05:30And Bret Hart is roughing it up a little bit here.
05:33All right, look at that.
05:34I told you, McMahon, it's not gonna be pretty.
05:38And I don't know if the Hitman Bret Hart is wise to trade blows with Big Daddy Cool Diesel.
05:44I agree.
05:44I don't think so.
05:45I think that's a mistake.
05:46I think the Hitman has to wrestle him.
05:49And look at this.
05:51Uh-oh.
05:51And caught in midair.
05:53Wow.
05:54When the Hitman went behind Diesel, it really illustrated.
05:57No.
05:58A little slow on the mark there with the elbow.
06:00It illustrated the tremendous size difference.
06:02But what the Hitman has to do is take him off his feet, get him down and
06:06wrestle him on the mat.
06:07Bret Hart.
06:08Uh-oh.
06:08Runs into an elbow and- Look out.
06:11Bret Hart over the top to the outside.
06:18You stated it before, King.
06:21Both of these men will do just about anything, legally that is, to either gain or
06:25retain the championship.
06:28Again, Slugfest developing.
06:30And Bret's gonna lose every time when it comes to that.
06:32Big mistake by the Hitman.
06:34Big mistake by the Hitman.
06:36But I don't really care because you see, I don't like Bret Hart.
06:39I hate his whole stinking family.
06:41Well, Owen Hart's not that bad.
06:43That's right.
06:44Please.
06:46There's a rotten apple in the barrel.
06:47There you go, get it.
06:51There you go.
06:53He's trying to shorten up the height advantage.
06:55That's right.
06:56Lady Jones, look at that.
06:57And he's thinking sharpshooter right now.
06:59Weaking those wheels.
07:01And the Hitman, as we saw last Monday night, far more aggressive than we have
07:05ever seen him.
07:06There was some question as to whether or not he has changed.
07:09My goodness.
07:12Not that this would necessarily indicate a change except that he is aggressive.
07:15He wants to win back the championship.
07:17The Hitman does.
07:23He's thinking right now, pull that hamstring just like Emmitt Smith had done to.
07:26Can you see?
07:27He's nullified the size difference, as you can see right now.
07:30At the moment, he certainly has.
07:32Big Daddy Cool Diesel on his back.
07:36And the Hitman, Bret Hart, if he can keep him down to this size, the Hitman obviously
07:41has the advantage.
07:42And Bret Hart quickly working on the knee area.
07:46And I must say, I'm surprised that the Hitman used that ring post to his advantage.
07:51And that could have been a disqualification.
07:53Man, the title is at stake here.
07:56They're gonna do anything.
07:57And again, here we go now.
07:59The Hitman working on that left leg.
08:01Getting down again.
08:02We saw Double J work on Razors earlier on.
08:05And Bret has the same success as Double J.
08:08We're gonna have a new champion.
08:11He's setting him up for the sharpshooter right now, McMahon.
08:13That's all he's thinking.
08:15Keep him down on the mat, weak in the legs, sharpshooter.
08:17And wait a minute, here it comes.
08:19Too soon.
08:20No.
08:20Too slow.
08:21Trying to go for it.
08:23Those long legs of Diesel are tough.
08:25There you go, let's take it back.
08:26It's locked down.
08:31Bret Hart.
08:33Leg pressure on the legs of Big Daddy Cool Diesel.
08:39This is a leg lock that the Hitman has perfected, but not as much as the sharpshooter.
08:45That's the hold that he's noted for.
08:47Not the figure four.
08:49He probably just saw the effect that this hold had on Razor Ramon and cost him the title.
08:55And now he's using it to soften up Diesel.
08:57Well, obviously the strategy of the Hitman unfolding and his strategy thus far very successful.
09:03The Hitman trying to keep the big seven foot monster down on the canvas.
09:07And it's working.
09:10And Diesel is inching ever so close and now has that bottom rope.
09:16And the Hitman, wait a minute, the Hitman's not releasing the hold.
09:19He's hanging on.
09:22Bret Hart hanging on and again risking a bit of disqualification.
09:27Now let's see the effect that that leg lock had on Diesel.
09:30And again, Bret goes right after it.
09:32Trying to drive Diesel right back and doesn't need he has him in the middle of the ring.
09:36Yes, sir.
09:36He's aggressive.
09:37I've never seen him so aggressive.
09:38The only problem with Diesel's size, there's only anywhere in the ring that he can't reach the rope from.
09:45And the Hitman continuing to, wait a minute, let's see what he is.
09:48Again, right back to the figure four.
09:53Keep him away from the ropes, you may have him.
09:57The Hitman and Big Daddy Cool Diesel battled it out last June at the King of the Ring.
10:05And Big Daddy Cool unable to become the champion as a result of a disqualification,
10:11as I recall on that encounter.
10:14Take a look at that, McMahon.
10:15They're the same size when they're down on the mat.
10:17In this position, the Hitman has the advantage.
10:22And again, Diesel itching his way to the rope.
10:29And wait a minute, a count of two there.
10:31Obviously Big Daddy Cool in a great deal of pain.
10:36I mean, we saw what happened with Razor Ramon and Double J when the roadie clipped Razor from behind.
10:42But here in front of the official, Bret Hart took the left leg of Diesel and just lowered the boom
10:49on that iron ring post.
10:51I don't think he's gonna be able to get Diesel to submit to the figure four, but-
10:55The hold must be broken.
10:57And again, the Hitman hanging on.
10:59Look at this.
11:01Bret Hart is hanging on to the hold, he will not let go.
11:05That's because, like I said, every second that he keeps that figure four on him is setting up the sharpshooter.
11:10The official's gonna disqualify him, I'm telling you.
11:13And the match is gonna end finally, the Hitman releases the hold.
11:20And again, Bret Hart going for the leg.
11:24You see, sometimes it's sort of like Deion Sanders there in the NFL.
11:28I think guys like the Hitman and Bret Hart, they get a little preferential treatment from the referees.
11:33They're not as quick to disqualify guys like that.
11:36And Bret, did you see that?
11:38Bret was going up.
11:40Look at that!
11:41Bret diving through the roof, the Hitman hammering away.
11:46I'm beginning to think there's nothing that the Hitman Bret Hart won't do to regain the championship.
11:52Diesel's out of it, McMahon.
11:53He doesn't have a clue where he is.
11:55Look at this.
11:55Right into the ring post.
11:57He did not expect this from the Hitman.
12:00Wait a minute.
12:04Unbelievable reserve power by Diesel,
12:07able to reverse things on the Hitman who just went flying into the stack.
12:11He cannot try to match strength with Diesel.
12:15Bret Hart thrown back in.
12:17And you can bet that's gonna be an angry Diesel once he gets back in the ring.
12:24Over the top, Diesel now, stalking the Hitman Bret Hart.
12:29Take a look at what we saw on the left side.
12:32Meanwhile, live action on the right side.
12:34The Hitman, whipped to the buckle.
12:38Back to live action.
12:39I thought I'd seen everything from the Hitman, but that was a first for me.
12:45Burlan Crustley, both men pulling out all the stops here.
12:50Elbow finding its mark.
12:53And again, Diesel setting up Bret Hart.
12:57And now, Big Daddy Cool, beginning to turn things around.
13:01You sense the momentum has shifted once again back in favor of the big seven footer.
13:09Uh-oh, the Hitman.
13:11And walks loud.
13:13Hooks the leg and cover.
13:15He is.
13:16No.
13:16Tell you, that's a long way down when you're as big as Diesel is.
13:20And his size and his strength just magnifies each one of those blows.
13:23I mean, one elbow in the jaw from Diesel is like taking ten punches from an ordinary guy.
13:30It'll wear you down a lot quicker.
13:31I'm surprised that the Hitman is still hanging in there.
13:34Diesel now coming out to Rob Van.
13:37My goodness, forget about it.
13:39Wow.
13:41And Diesel begins to take a little latitude as far as the rules and regulations are concerned as well.
13:48You realize, McMahon, that every World Wrestling Federation superstar is watching this,
13:52and this is exactly what they want to see.
13:55What do you mean?
13:55These two guys are destroying each other.
13:58Now, what I'm just gonna do is finish the job.
14:01And that'll be one of the top superstars eliminated from the World Wrestling Federation.
14:06The Hitman, Bret Hart, across the knee.
14:09A Big Daddy Cool Diesel in.
14:12Down he goes.
14:14And cover to the kick out.
14:19So the match taking its toll here on both individuals.
14:24And you wonder, even though you don't see the sign of a limp on the part of Diesel,
14:30you sort of wonder just how much damage was done to the left leg.
14:33Look at Bret Hart firing that foul.
14:38These two men running.
14:39Gosh.
14:40I mean, they have come here to Tampa, Florida.
14:44One to defend the title, the other to take it away.
14:47And I believe these two are more aggressive than they have ever been.
14:51What a turn, Buckle McMahon.
14:53That may have done it.
14:54I think his back's hurt.
14:56The Hitman Bret Hart out of the middle of the ring.
14:59Wait a minute.
14:59Here it comes.
15:00Here it comes.
15:01No.
15:02What's that?
15:05It's a subliminal hole.
15:08Trying to get him to give up.
15:10The Hitman Hart hanging up.
15:14And Bret is way up in the air.
15:17The Hitman has never had this hole to climb like this before.
15:25And look at this.
15:27Bret, Bret just escapes.
15:29And he's climbing down over Diesel.
15:31He hits a steeper hole.
15:32A snapmare of sorts, and down goes the Hitman.
15:36Anxious moments already, many of them here in this matchup.
15:39Bret being set up now, coming off the rope.
15:42Hitman Bret Hart.
15:44No, that could do it.
15:45That could do it.
15:47That could do it.
15:48It's about a size 18 boot in the face.
15:51Diesel with the momentum in this time.
15:54Elbow finds its mark.
15:55Here's a cover, the kill too, and a kick out.
15:58He got off.
16:00You gotta give it to Bret the Hitman Hart.
16:03Stamina is unbelievable.
16:05It always has been.
16:06Just when you would count him out, he comes right back.
16:11Through the Michael and Diesel.
16:13There's a foot to the face of Diesel.
16:16The Hitman with a close line.
16:18There goes McGinty Cole.
16:23Unbelievable tenacity of both the Hitman, Bret Hart, as well as the reigning champion, Diesel.
16:28Now what's Bret gonna do?
16:30Bret the master tactician.
16:32Bret obviously has the advantage in terms of experience.
16:35Wait a minute, Diesel.
16:36Diesel caught him.
16:37No.
16:38Look at this.
16:41And we'll look at that.
16:42One, two, yes.
16:44So close.
16:45And to the outside, Bret Hart.
16:47Look at the power that Diesel still has though.
16:49Yes, he kicked out.
16:50Completely out of the ring.
16:51With authority, to say the least.
16:55And Bret, what's he doing now?
16:57Bret on the outside of the ring, ladies and gentlemen.
17:00What's he doing?
17:00Trying to get his thoughts together.
17:03And, uh-oh.
17:04No, that's the same corner.
17:06That's the same ring post.
17:08What's this?
17:09What's he doing?
17:10No.
17:11Hey, wait a minute.
17:13Bret is taking the tape off of his ribs and tying the legs of Big Daddy Cool Diesel together.
17:20Diesel reaching for Tony, can't quite reach it.
17:23I told you, McMahon, they're gonna stoop to anything.
17:26They wanna win this title so fast.
17:29What is going on here?
17:31I've never seen that before.
17:35No, wait a minute.
17:36Wow.
17:37Hey, wait a minute.
17:38Diesel is helpless.
17:39He's a seven-footer.
17:40He's a monster, all right.
17:41But wait a minute, the official just got the rope from around.
17:46The ankles, and Diesel is free, but he's already paid a price.
17:51The Hitman has definitely changed, McMahon.
17:53You gotta admit it.
17:54Full down.
18:00No, that's just about as close as you can get, right there.
18:05He's figuring if he wins back, the title of the change is worth it.
18:09Off the rope, and Diesel being attacked downstairs now.
18:13Look at this.
18:13Right back to the catwalk.
18:15One, two, three.
18:17One, two, three.
18:18A left shoulder barely getting up.
18:20I can't believe it.
18:21Usually when you get your head, the back of your head banged off the mat like that,
18:24you're out of it for more than a count of three.
18:26Diesel back up on his feet, maybe not for long.
18:28Look at this.
18:29And Bret Hart displays tremendous strength and tenacity.
18:35Bret now, what's he doing?
18:37Bret Hart going upstairs.
18:40Bret Hart is maneuvering.
18:42He lives.
18:43That should be enough.
18:45One, two, no.
18:47So close.
18:48I thought he had him.
18:49I'd go for the sharpshooter.
18:53I don't know, look at Diesel.
18:56These two have really been dishing out the punishment to each other.
19:00I can't believe he can get back on his feet.
19:02And again, hanging under the rope, the official should fake the hold.
19:06But Bret is enlisting.
19:07Bret is becoming, finally now releasing the hold.
19:10Bret lusting to a bit of reason, finally a headbutt by the Hitman.
19:15These are close to the rope.
19:16Here comes Bret on the top to the outside.
19:20How about that?
19:23He's alive.
19:23He's alive.
19:24He's alive, my goodness.
19:26He caught him.
19:27He caught him.
19:29He caught him.
19:31He caught Bret Hart in midair, and just rammed him into the steel post.
19:39My royal prediction is Diesel.
19:42Then who I predict?
19:43Diesel.
19:44You predicted the Hitman Bret Hart would take this earlier.
19:47I change it now.
19:49And the Hitman Bret Hart must have suffered some sort of rib injury as a result of being rammed in
19:56that steel post.
19:58That ass will take it out of you.
19:59And now, the Hitman is motionless.
20:02And Big Daddy Cool.
20:03Yeah.
20:03Passing advantage.
20:05Are we gonna see the jackknife or not?
20:07Are we gonna see it?
20:08We just could very well.
20:10See the jackknife.
20:10That's what I'd do if I was Diesel.
20:11Come on.
20:13That's my prediction, McMahon.
20:15Big Daddy Cool with the Hitman Bret Hart sets him up.
20:22And this could do it.
20:25Yeah.
20:27There it is.
20:28There it is.
20:29The cover.
20:30The count.
20:31One.
20:31Two.
20:33Wait a minute, wait a minute.
20:36Hey, Shawn Michaels is in the ring.
20:39Shawn Michaels.
20:43Shawn Michaels, look at this.
20:46Get him out of there.
20:47Get him out of there.
20:49Get him out of there.
20:52What's happening?
20:53Did the referee run the bell?
20:54What's going on?
20:58The official screaming at Shawn Michaels to get out of the ring.
21:01What's he doing?
21:02Just when Big Daddy Cool was covering the Hitman for the three count.
21:07Hey, wait a minute.
21:09You'll be out of here forever if you do that.
21:14Diesel had the match one, I'm sure he did.
21:16Now they're both laying flat on their back.
21:25Has Bret Hart been disqualified?
21:28What's going on?
21:30Look at the carnage in the ring.
21:33The referee has ruled that this match must continue.
21:42I can't believe it.
21:43The match must continue.
21:47Bret's got bad ribs and Diesel's got a bad leg.
21:50What's gonna?
21:52They're both getting up.
21:53Well, the match continues here.
21:59And I must say, we've seen just about everything.
22:01We saw our first match, ladies and gentlemen, end and then restart all over again.
22:07Now, perhaps this one should have ended, but the official says no, keep wrestling.
22:12Uh-oh, no, look at this.
22:13Shawn, Shawn came in and worked on the leg of Diesel.
22:16Now Bret's going right after him.
22:18Do you think those two, do you think there's some sort of conspiracy there?
22:22I have no idea what to expect.
22:25I wouldn't think so, but nonetheless, Bret Hart is obviously taking advantage of a bad situation here.
22:35And the Hitman really going to work on the left leg as we saw him earlier.
22:44The Hitman, Bret Hart, wants to win the championship for the third time.
22:49Look at this.
22:53The same leg.
22:55I can hear Diesel screaming, right?
22:57He's screaming in pain.
22:59Bret Hart, so determined to be the title owner once again.
23:04Equally determined, however, thus far, Diesel to retain it.
23:08Figure four coming again.
23:10Again?
23:14And yes, he has it in.
23:16This could do it.
23:20The Hitman has not applied the Sharpshooter.
23:25Maybe he can't, maybe Diesel's legs are so long he can't.
23:28But this is the third time now he's applied the figure four leg lock.
23:32And Big Daddy Cool is obviously in big trouble.
23:38I'm changing my prediction.
23:40I mean, I'm not changing my prediction.
23:41My prediction is the Hitman.
23:43That's what I predicted.
23:44You predicted earlier the Hitman would win, then you went back to Diesel.
23:47Make up your mind.
23:48The Hitman, the Hitman.
23:50And look at this, Diesel working into the rib area of Bret Hart.
23:54And that, uh-oh, that is exactly what broke the hold.
23:59How are these guys able to continue?
24:03Diesel taking advantage of injured ribs on the Hitman Bret Hart,
24:08just as the Hitman took advantage of the bad wheel, the bad leg of Big Daddy Cool.
24:15And I'm not too sure that either one of these two will ever be the same after this matchup.
24:19We need to get him back down, get him off his feet.
24:22And Bret Hart-
24:23Yeah, there we go, working the leg.
24:29And look at this.
24:30Yes.
24:31Bret is using that rope to his advantage and again, he's ignoring the official,
24:35ignoring him.
24:37Bret Hart, Bret Hart has given this official a number of reasons to disqualify him.
24:43I like this though.
24:44I think that's the way it should be.
24:46Championship match, all the marbles, the official, somebody should win.
24:53And Bret Hart, there, he's not gonna help himself as far as the ribs are concerned
24:58after that maneuver.
25:00And Big Daddy Cool Diesel.
25:01You gotta get him back down.
25:06Diesel with the Hitman.
25:09And again, Diesel attacking the weakened area.
25:13The ribs.
25:14Yes, definitely lifting the knee into the rib area.
25:19Every one of those are taking its toll, McMahon.
25:22I've had cracked ribs before.
25:23Believe me, the pain is unbelievable.
25:25And here we go.
25:28But you know what?
25:29If you saw that, he directed that to where he would throw the Hitman down right on his
25:33side, not flat on his back.
25:34One, two, and a kick up.
25:37Unbelievable resilience on the part of Bret Hart as well as Diesel.
25:43These two have taken it to each other thus far.
25:45What a matchup we have had.
25:47You said earlier on, King, that this match would not be pretty, and indeed it has not been.
25:52You've seen it all.
25:53You've seen the Hitman actually tie up the legs of Diesel.
25:56You've seen Shawn come in.
25:57And who knows if that was a plot between the Hitman and Shawn.
26:01Look at that.
26:03And that injured left back is now more injured.
26:10You know, the more I think about it.
26:12Wait a minute, wait a minute.
26:12Bret Hart is gonna use that ring push.
26:14He has to be disqualified this time.
26:16He has to.
26:20This has gotta be part of his life.
26:22His game plan again.
26:23Third time he's used those ring push.
26:24And wait a minute.
26:28Look at this.
26:31That's it.
26:33Bret has reasons and has gotta find anyone he.
26:36Right on a kneecap.
26:38No, I think he missed.
26:39Huh?
26:40I think he missed.
26:41No, it had to hit the kneecap too.
26:43I'm not so sure.
26:44But now these fans beginning to pull the Hitman right hard.
26:48Wait a minute.
26:49What's this?
26:50The Sharpshooter.
26:52The Sharpshooter.
26:52The Sharpshooter.
26:55Get out, can Big Daddy Cool hang on?
26:59Can he withstand the pain?
27:01Look out!
27:01Look at this.
27:03It's Owen Hart.
27:05Owen Hart's coming in.
27:06Look at this.
27:08One, two, three, three.
27:09Owen Hart coming in here ladies and gentlemen interfering in this match-up.
27:14Wait a minute, what's this?
27:17He took the turbo right in the sternum area.
27:26He's a loser, I'm the only king of the family.
27:31Owen Hart, a despicable brother.
27:36I told you McMahon,
27:37I knew there was something I liked about Owen Hart.
27:41And the hip man, Brad Hart, had the sharpshooter on Big Daddy Cool Diesel.
27:49But you have to wonder whether or not Diesel.
27:51Look at the referee, the referee is disqualifying Diesel.
27:55It looks like these two have been in an automobile accident.
27:58They are really wrecked, but the official is talking.
28:02I've just been informed by the referee that this match must continue.
28:08I cannot believe it.
28:10One minute, there's not gonna be anything left.
28:13I mean, yes, the title is indeed up for grabs.
28:17Yes, you have two of the greatest competitors ever and
28:19certainly two of the biggest fan favorites ever.
28:21But I'm not so sure that's a wise decision.
28:25I told you before, McMahon, all the superstars are really loving this now.
28:28Both of these guys are gonna be eliminated.
28:31The title will be up for grabs.
28:34This is great.
28:36And Diesel favoring the leg and Brad Hart has it moved.
28:41You wonder whether or not the Hitman has a crush, Sterling.
28:44Diesel itching over to the Hitman.
28:46Just like I predicted.
28:48Diesel is covering.
28:50Big Panticole just has to lift up that arm and turn it across the chest.
28:54My prediction is Diesel.
28:56And he does.
28:57Five, two, and he got it.
29:03Did he count or what?
29:06No, it's still going.
29:07Both men are exhausted.
29:12They're almost helpless, McMahon.
29:18Diesel and the Hitman Brad Hart going out in here.
29:22The Father's Capacity crowd, the 1995 Royal Rumble.
29:26What a way to kick off the year.
29:29No, no, it's gone.
29:31And Diesel was gonna- My goodness, no.
29:37Look at that.
29:38Wow, Diesel was gonna use that unproductive turnbuckle, but
29:42then the Hitman did it.
29:44And Diesel may be out on his feet.
29:46Look at this.
29:47Now those fists will have a huge effect, even against someone the size of Diesel.
29:52Look at this, the Hitman hammering away on Diesel.
29:58They're going for the knockouts now, McMahon.
30:01Diesel is out on his feet.
30:04Diesel, ladies and gentlemen, is somehow standing out.
30:07Look at this.
30:08Diesel down on one knee.
30:10Diesel back up.
30:12The Hitman out.
30:13That was the knockout punch, no it was not.
30:21And Drake thinks he's won this thing, but Diesel's back up.
30:25Look at that.
30:26And a forearm by Big Daddy Cool, another one.
30:28A series of them now.
30:29They can't take Diesel out.
30:32Look at this.
30:33What fight.
30:34He's trying to knock- He's trying to knock Bret out.
30:38And the Hitman.
30:39No.
30:41Bret Hart hanging upside down.
30:44And now what's gonna happen?
30:45Diesel going to the outside.
30:47This is unbelievable.
30:48He jumped out and he hurt his knee.
30:51Bret Hart.
30:52Bret Hart.
30:53Bret Hart.
30:54Wait a minute.
30:59Wait a minute.
31:01They'll do it.
31:02And you don't know whether he's going to or not.
31:05Diesel had a chair in his hand.
31:09Wait a minute.
31:12Wait a minute.
31:12Look at the Hitman.
31:13He was up.
31:14He went back down.
31:15And before he went back down, he glanced over at Diesel.
31:19I'm just wondering whether or not- Play it possum.
31:22I don't know, because there was nothing wrong with his leg.
31:27He was just hanging upside down.
31:29Although it certainly could have taken something out of him.
31:31And Brett does not want to continue.
31:35Wait a minute, Snow Dragon, he got it.
31:39No, he didn't.
31:39What a move.
31:44The Hitman, Bret Hart, playing possum, the wily veteran.
31:48Almost sucked Big Daddy Cool into that one.
31:51Reversal now, coming off the rope and from behind.
31:55Whoa, official.
31:57The Hitman, Randy's right into the official who just went down all three men are down now.
32:05Look at that, look at that, look at that.
32:07There he goes, what do you think of this?
32:11What, what?
32:13What in the world?
32:15Double J, Maroney.
32:17It's Double J in on Diesel.
32:20Look at this, look what they're doing.
32:23Just that hard, look what they're doing to Diesel.
32:26The ring filling up with officials now trying to get some control out of that matchup.
32:33They've all picked their spot to come in, look at this.
32:35And ladies and gentlemen, all over Diesel earlier on.
32:41Shawn Michaels was choking, he's still on top of Big Daddy Cool.
32:46Owen Hart all over his brother, Brett, the roadie, Double J.
32:52Look, it's like a carnage.
32:53It's like a back alley gang fight.
32:55The official went down and the vultures came out quickly here in Tampa at the Royal Rumble.
33:02Yeah, unfortunately the Hitman and Diesel forgot to bring a gang.
33:06And finally it looks like, it looks like some degree of order has been regained.
33:15Look at Backlund.
33:18This on Corsley is the most chaotic championship matchup I can recall.
33:24One last parting shot from Shawn Michaels, did you see that?
33:28Yeah, I saw it, typical.
33:31And- Now what?
33:33Ladies and gentlemen, your attention please.
33:36Due to the inability of the official- Put that chair out.
33:40To maintain control of this contest, he has declared this match a draw.
33:51Unquestionably, he was unable to control the matchup.
33:54He almost lost control when Michaels came in initially and-
33:58It's still, look at this.
33:59Wait a minute.
33:59Wait a minute, there it is.
34:01The crossface chicken wing.
34:03Now it's starting all over again.
34:06He's got it still starting.
34:08Look at Shawn Michaels.
34:10Michaels all over Diesel.
34:12Back him with a crossface chicken wing on Pithar.
34:16Wait a minute, Diesel clearing the ring.
34:20Diesel all over the roadie.
34:22Get Shawn Michaels.
34:23Michaels on touch with the same is not true for Owen Hart.
34:27Double J takes a shot.
34:29The roadie's down.
34:32Diesel now.
34:35What a boot to the head.
34:41Diesel kicking back and out of the ring.
34:44Did he just save the Hitman?
34:50Diesel, ladies and gentlemen.
34:52Lifting around the ring.
34:54And you can bet Brad Hart will feel the effects of the crossface chicken wing.
34:58And finally, the officials, I hope, have begun to maintain some order.
35:10Come on.
35:11Look at this.
35:13Shawn Michaels out.
35:15There's the king of hearts.
35:17They want back in.
35:23Look out, Brandon.
35:27And there we see, ladies and gentlemen, two great superstars.
35:32And what an ovation here by this capacity crowd.
35:37And after all of this, wait a minute, Diesel stopped Fred Hart.
35:44Was he going for that bad arm?
35:50After, finally, after all of this, these two men have given it their eye.
35:56There's a handshake.
35:59What an ovation.
36:00Look at this capacity crowd.
36:02They're all standing on their feet.
36:05They're standing on their feet, ladies and gentlemen.
36:08Outer respect to these two great WWE Superstars.
36:13And Diesel and the Hitman are showing mutual respect for each other.
36:19And I gotta say, they both earned it.
36:21Indeed they did.
36:28But however, you have to wonder whether either individual will ever be the same.
36:33My.
36:34What a man.
36:35These two really took it to each other, yes, there he is.
36:40Big Danny Cool Diesel is still the World Wrestling Federation Champion.
36:47What a man.
