00:13It was in this building on January 19th earlier this year on Monday Night Raw.
00:18That Randy Orton's path to destruction really began.
00:22It was the night that Randy Orton hunted the chairman of this company in the skull,
00:27Mr. McMahon beginning his path of destruction against the McMahon family.
00:33And it's led us to tonight where Randy Orton himself has said,
00:37we're looking at the man that the entire WWE revolves around, the WWE chick.
00:43And there are many who will not argue that point.
00:46Randy Orton not only took out Mr. McMahon, but he took out Shane McMahon.
00:49He took out Stephanie McMahon, and then he did the unthinkable in backlash.
00:54He punted Triple H in the skull, eliminating the game from the equation.
01:01Well, Randy Orton has eliminated a lot of his competition.
01:06But one man he thought he had eliminated is now back for
01:11retribution here tonight in Judgment Day.
01:16Randy Orton claims that Batista will not win the WWE Championship tonight.
01:24And Randy Orton is living his destiny.
01:32Well, those are all words, much like the words we heard earlier from Chris Jericho.
01:37What a great match that was, but his words didn't come through.

04:10Now, Batista won that opportunity by defeating the Big Show a couple of weeks ago
04:14in the number one contenders match.
04:15And tonight, it's Batista versus Orton for the WWE title.

05:05Introducing first, the challenger, from Washington DC, weighing in at 290 pounds, Batista!
05:19And from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is the WWE Champion, Randy Orton!
05:35These two competitors have a couple of things in common. They're both four-time champions.
05:40They both learn the tricks of the trade in one of the legendary groups, Evolution.
05:44But other than that, they're polar opposites.
05:47Orton, a third-generation superstar, learning from his grandfather and his father.
05:51For Batista, brought up in a single-parent home, raised by his mother,
05:55learning of the rough streets of Washington DC to get him here tonight.
06:00All this past week, we've heard rumors of some sort of altercation that Batista was involved in.
06:06Well, we see he's wearing the battle scars of that altercation.
06:11Eight stitches in the head of Batista, and that could be a factor in this match.
06:17I don't believe those stitches will slow the animal down, however.
06:22A testament to the intensity of that man.
06:26Yeah, we can only speculate that maybe Randy Orton had something to do with those stitches.

08:02The thing that Batista wants to do most is hurt Randy Orton by taking that WWE title.
08:07But what Batista's gotta do, he's gotta keep his head, he's gotta keep his wits about him.

08:13Well, he must lose his cool if he can't win, if he gets disqualified.
08:17Has to keep those emotions in check, and we've seen the emotions get the better of Batista over the past
08:21couple of weeks.
08:22Perfect example this past Monday night, disqualified in a match.
08:30Well, the animal looks very much in control in the early going.
08:33Yeah, somehow I can't help but believe that Batista's waited so long for this.
08:37Man, look at the ever opportunistic Randy Orton.
08:41Well, that's vintage Orton there.
08:45And now Orton looks to attack.
08:47Standing drop kick.
08:50And it allows Orton the champion to buy himself some time.
08:54I don't know if anybody delivers a more potent or
08:56more perfect drop kick than Randy Orton.
09:01You can see as Orton has exited the ring, that unsettling look in his eyes.

10:43You know, I think that when we heard Randy Orton offer Batista an opportunity to join Legacy,
10:49I think Orton thought that Batista would gladly accept that.
10:52And when Batista didn't, I think that-
10:55I thought Batista was considering it as well.
11:00I don't think he thought about it for one minute.

11:09And I think Orton really felt Batista made a huge mistake when he didn't accept that invitation.

11:39And this, once again, is where we've seen Orton do this to numerous opponents.
11:46Just walk around and stomp on every arm, leg, appendage that's sticking out.
11:53Not only the physical assault, but mentally that has to wear your opponent down as well.
