Shocking Encounter: Golden Retriever Driven from Water by Protective Duck

After a lengthy hike, Abby engaged in a game of fetch with her Golden Retriever, tossing the ball into the reservoir for a refreshing swim before their car journey. Abby recounted to WooGlobe, "My dog has always shown apprehension around ducks, and I mistakenly threw the ball just as a mother duck and her ducklings emerged from behind a tree. I anticipated he'd retrieve the ball quickly, but the mother duck aggressively pursued him to protect her young. Once they left, I felt it was safe to throw the ball again, yet the mother duck returned and chased him out of the water once more."
