00:00Brother, let's talk about this game tonight here.
00:020-4 Buccaneers.
00:03They got a rookie quarterback, as you just heard Clarence Hill say.
00:08And you got a Cowboy team coming off a win against the Houston Texans,
00:12another 0-4 team at the time.
00:14So now, again, I mean, Cowboys heading into this ballgame.
00:18What do you like tonight here?
00:20Dan, pleasure to see you, as always.
00:22So going into Week 5, right, we've sent September packing.
00:26Now we're into October.
00:27This is the point of the season, to me, where we're starting to see
00:32our teams in true desperation mode, right?
00:34Like a lot of these teams are 0-4.
00:36You know that going into Week 5.
00:38You know, 1-4 just feels a little better.
00:410-5 just feels like your season is absolutely done and dusted.
00:44So we're going to start to see some of these teams really play with –
00:48I mean, you should go into every single game as an NFL football player
00:50with desperation and exhilaration and energy and stuff.
00:53But I feel like we're going to start to see that little bit of push, right,
00:57as some of these teams really start to climb back into the race
01:00over the next couple of weeks.
01:01And that kicks off tonight.
01:02I mean, the Dallas Cowboys pulled, you know, defeat out of victory last week,
01:07beating the Houston Texans in dramatic fashion.
01:10You just talked about it with Clarence.
01:11Like, this team is on a crazy run right now.
01:13They played in Rio against that Ravens game, which was dramatic loss.
01:16And then you got that huge win last week.
01:18So they've been playing with their emotions of a little bit of a roller coaster
01:21over the last few weeks.
01:22And now what do you have?
01:23You have a primetime game against an 0-4 Buccaneers team.
01:26No Baker Mayfield.
01:28The vibes could not be any lower in Tampa.
01:31Dan, it feels like a humongous letdown spot for this Cowboys team, man.
01:35It does.
01:35And I know that the Cowboys should get the job done.
01:37Nothing points to the Bucs in this game, right?
01:40But you look at it and you go, desperate team.
01:42Pretty good defense, actually.
01:44They've been playing pretty well defensively in the passing game,
01:46especially to start the season.
01:48So they just haven't put one in the dub department.
01:51So what are we going to see tonight?
01:52We can see that desperation win out.
01:54Are they also going to bring in Jalen Daniels in this situation?
01:56He's only started one game in the NFL.
01:59And you know, Dan, you play in the league.
02:00You know these situations.
02:02What is it when you're dealing with a guy you don't have any tape on?
02:04And you're on a short week.
02:05And you're kind of tired.
02:07And throw the last little cherry on top.
02:09What does this guy do best?
02:10He runs the ball.
02:11That's a recipe for disaster for this Cowboys defense going into this game.
02:15So I'm super fascinated to see if all of those recipes,
02:19things bake an interesting cake for us to watch tonight on Thursday night.
02:22Yeah, man.
02:23I don't know if the Cowboys and Christian Parker have the horses to be able to
02:27go with a dual threat quarterback.
02:29Like you said, I think that's one of the Achilles of many defenses in the NFL.
02:34If you're able to use your wheels,
02:36you're able to get out in the perimeter and do things no matter how good
02:38your defense looks.
02:40I'm going to be interested tonight as well.
