00:00Gracias por ver el video.
00:30Oh, I appreciate your applause today. Thank you so much.
00:32But being a lawyer and a judge, I still want to verify this thing.
00:41So what do you say?
00:43I think it's very appropriate that I'm with friends and colleagues,
00:47all of whom support human rights.
00:52The last thing I did is the delivery of the report on Gaza,
00:57naming what's happening there as genocide.
01:00Yeah.
01:01Bravo!
01:06Thank you.
01:07So one of the main reactions to that report is paying tribute to me for my courage.
01:15And you can imagine how surprised I was.
01:18Why would you need courage to speak the truth?
01:21You interpret the law, you look at all the facts,
01:23so it's an impartial decision-making.
01:29So right now I'm still involved as ad hoc judge
01:32in the case brought by the Gambia against Myanmar.
01:37So everybody says,
01:39when are you going to stop?
01:40When are you going to stop?
01:42I just turned 85 last month here.
01:46I can't obviously stop my work in support of the New York Friends with the Gambia
01:53because of the people we need here.
01:56But really, thank you so much.
01:57You know, I hope this is not a joke then.
02:03Thank you.
02:04Thank you.
02:05Bravo!
02:06Bravo!
02:07Bravo!
02:09Bravo!
