00:01Liverpool's Cavern Club and Magical Mystery Tour have new owners ending 35 years under
00:06the same ownership. Four Scouse owners have sold Cavern City tours to a group called 14
00:11Collective which also takes on the Cavern pub and restaurant. The original Cavern hosted the
00:16Beatles 292 times between 1961 and 1963. The underground club closed in 1973 and was later
00:25filled in. A replica opened on the site in 1984. The attraction now draws more than a million
00:32music fans each year. Managing director Bill Heckle says the sale was not taken lightly
00:38and that it was an emotional but a proud day.
