00:00Today I'm gonna show you how we make our shrimp katsu burger.
00:03This is actually the burger I grew up eating in Japan
00:06because Japanese McDonald's actually have
00:08this shrimp katsu burger, my favorite.
00:10When I first moved to the US, I went to McDonald's.
00:13Shrimp katsu burger was not on the menu.
00:15And since then, I really wanted to create my own version
00:18because I miss it so much.
00:20So usually when you do like panko fry items,
00:23you do flour and egg wash and then panko usually.
00:26But for us, we skip the egg wash part.
00:29And then what we do is we use the tempura butter.
00:31It's like extra, extra crispy,
00:33which is really what I want for this burger.
00:35Now the patty is ready, nice and crispy.
00:38I'm gonna start plating.
00:40The milk bread bun, the best mayonnaise in the world,
00:42Guppy mayonnaise, cabbage sauce, and cheddar cheese, tartar sauce,
00:46and then the bun on the top.
00:48But this is my favorite burger.
