00:04my country's cross-border tobacco burial problem
00:06It just won't go away
00:08We just talked about it yesterday.
00:09It's practically like a biological weapon.
00:12Yesterday, several states were already allowed to...
00:14Including Johor, Malacca, and Blood Dragon District
00:17I can't take it anymore.
00:18At the last minute, the school was ordered to close.
00:20No, I really can't take it anymore.
00:22Our child is attending class under these circumstances.
00:24The types of cigarettes I smoke every day
00:25How can you stand it?
00:27Therefore, in order to reduce the harm caused by burying
00:29School closures have continued until today.
00:31It was the Perak State Education Department's turn.
00:33They also felt they couldn't take it anymore.
00:35Suddenly announced
00:36Northward advance to attack the county, southward advance to attack the county, Jiangsha County
00:39All educational institutions
00:40Classes suspended immediately
00:41Involving 362 schools
00:43More than 150,000 students
00:45Switch to home-based learning
00:46What happens when faced with such a sudden announcement?
00:48Many parents were caught off guard.
00:50Some have already taken their children to school.
00:52That's when I was told
00:53Oh, the school is closed today.
00:55This burial is already too serious.
00:57So they turned around and took the child home.
00:59Besides, some parents
01:00For the temporary measures of local education bureaus
01:02In addition to announcing that he felt mentally exhausted
01:05East Malaysia Sarawak Church School
01:06Chairman of the Board Donald T.
01:08They questioned the Ministry of Education.
01:09Does double standard exist?
01:11He said East Malaysia in the past few months
01:14What if we face a severe landslide?
01:16Schools are only open when the air pollution index is high.
01:19Classes are only allowed to be suspended if the number of cases reaches 200.
01:21But why is it the peninsula's turn?
01:23When the problem of tobacco burial worsens
01:25However, the standard was lowered from 200 points to 180 points.
01:29The school needs to suspend classes.
01:30He said this practice was questionable.
01:32Does a regional double standard exist?
01:35What about the current smoke burial?
01:37Ultimately
01:38What everyone is most concerned about is
01:39When will it disperse?
01:41The problem is that this might continue until November.
01:45If there is no improvement
01:46This led to the school remaining closed.
01:47That could potentially impact SPM candidates.
01:50Selangor Chief Minister Amirudin
01:52Let's talk about it today.
01:53Although many schools are currently closed
01:55What about the students?
01:56I will still study at home.
01:57But what about the state government?
01:58We will still discuss this with the Selangor State Education Department.
02:01How to ensure students' safety during home learning?
02:04It will not affect their ability to face
02:05SPM Exam Study Progress
02:07So actually?
02:09The impact of this burial
02:10Not just teachers and students of the school
02:12And everyone who needs to go out to work every day
02:15Lee Kuo-tak, president of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, pointed out
02:18According to workplace smoke burial guidelines
02:21When the air pollution index exceeds 100 points
02:24Manufacturers should minimize
02:26High-intensity outdoor work
02:28When the index exceeds 200 points
02:30Then you should wear the correct mask.
02:32Therefore he believes
02:33Cross-border tobacco burial not only impacts the safety of factory workers
02:36Industrial productivity will also dampen the economy
02:39Therefore, he urged ASEAN
02:41Matters related to dealing with ash burial
02:43Upgraded to a regional priority
02:46Roadmap to a smokeless ASEAN
02:48It can be successfully implemented before 2030.
