00:00Businesswoman Diane Haddad says the island has been neglected for too long and she wants
00:06to see the upcoming budget prioritize Tobago and deliver meaningful development.
00:12Ever since the PNM days, 300 million is what was given for development and so I don't know
00:23even if they got more unfortunately for us at this stage we have not seen anything in
00:28the last five years to show that we have spent money or we did get money and that
00:35money is being moved in the direction to develop the island and Haddad is also
00:41raising concerns about the recent controversy involving the independent
00:46senators saying the country deserves better from those entrusted with public
00:51responsibility. To consistently have what is going on as an attack on them and then
00:57their responses now almost seem to be well we're going to sit here and block. That to
01:03me is what I am getting out of it as a citizen. I am not getting that we have a
01:08bench of people who are sitting and saying well what you are saying is nonsense and
01:12therefore I am not agreeing with it. It almost seems as though they are now a
01:17group on their own, they are a party by themselves in the third party in the
01:22parliament or in the senate and we are not getting what I think we deserve. Nicole M
