00:00We're up at 1 o'clock, so if we keep it short and sweet, or only a couple of years,
00:04that'd be great.
00:05Okay, if you want it, it'd be great. So kick off with Crosy.
00:09Hello. Sorry to go back to this, but you were at Man City for three and a half years.
00:15You enter this period with your conscience clear, basically, because you were a senior position.
00:21Was your conscience clear of what's happened?
00:26Can I just ask you one other point?
00:29The contract got a different answer.
00:31You can ask, yes.
00:35Is there more to come from here?
00:38Because you've had a remarkable time here.
00:41Do you feel as if you're still evolving as a manager and as a coach, and is there improvements?
00:48You already won the title, but is there more to do? Do you notice you're evolving?
00:52Yeah, a lot.
00:54And I know that because that's generally what I want to do, but I know that the people around me
01:04is going to help me to evolve as well.
01:06And starting from ownership and everybody that I have around me, because now we have created people with that curiosity,
01:12with that drive to constantly think about how we can get better.
01:16Make sure that we maintain, because it's tough as well.
01:18The really powerful and strong things that we already have in the team and the club, but continue to evolve
01:26them to be better than anybody else.
01:29I know you don't talk about the process, and I understand that.
01:33I respect that.
01:34But you are in a unique position as, as you said, a former city staff member, and then someone who
01:40competed against them.
01:42No one else has had that battle with them and have been there.
01:45So I want to ask you about the process and where things should happen or has happened.
01:48When that news came out, the fact of that news, the fact of that ruling, how did that make you
01:53feel?
01:53What was your instinctive response? We all have feelings of seeing it, a whole football world.
01:58And you're the most relevant.
02:00But the thing is that this has been going for various years, you know, and the process is still not
02:05finished.
02:06So very difficult to express how I feel, because it's not resolved.
02:11When it's resolved, I can talk with clarity and tell you exactly how I feel.
02:15You're looking forward to that point when you can tell us how you feel.
02:18I think that process has to be resolved in a way, and I think we need to trust that the
02:23people that are in charge of doing that,
02:25they will do it in a time frame that they believe is the best for everybody.
02:41I want to think that it doesn't, but I don't know, you know, and certainly it's not in our control.
02:50And our control is to bring everything that we can individually and through the club to maintain the position that
02:58we have to be the best league in the world.
03:00Last couple of things. Josh, Gary, if it's on anything else, please.
03:04I'd be much appreciated.
03:07On a different topic, when you've got international players and your players go away,
03:13and some of them play exceptionally, and maybe they haven't been in the team as often as they might,
03:18some of them like Camparino, Yoccares.
03:19But, Niko, about how difficult are those conversations to try and decide,
03:23not only whether they might not even get out of place in,
03:25or if they're going to be a person in a position like they are, who might get out?
03:29Well, the first reaction is, what am I doing that with me they don't do this,
03:33or they haven't given the opportunity to do this.
03:36That's a natural one, you know.
03:38And then you obviously are really happy with them.
03:41I was talking to Mikel the day before he played his last game.
03:44I said, Mikel, you remember before you came to us,
03:46and I think you used to score one goal every 13 games for the national team.
03:50Since you've been here, you scored one every 93 minutes.
03:53And then he scored two the next evening, so his number is even down.
03:58So I cannot say that I'm very happy that they are able to help the national teams in that
04:03because I haven't done it, but it should be one of the best feelings
04:06to represent your country and do it in such a way.
04:09James, Gary?
04:10I was going to ask about some of the different set pieces.
04:15To me, you were very, very strong at last season.
04:18You scored a trillion of them.
04:20But this year, you haven't scored yet, not scored from the corner yet.
04:24I know referees brought in the new rules regarding grappling and stuff.
04:29I just wondered, what happens do you think you'll get the score from one?
04:33Have you changed anything to make your players more up?
04:37Because of those new goals bringing in, have you changed the way that your players attack set pieces?
04:41Or maybe, has it been a struggle where it wasn't in the previous?
04:47Yeah.
04:48My personal opinion is that we've done better things than last year in the first five games.
04:54But we have scored no goals.
04:57And it's – I think that's the reality of set pieces as well.
05:00Sometimes we've scored a goal or they've scored a non-goal and it's a set piece goal, but we didn't
05:04do things well.
05:06So, last year we scored three goals by this time, I think it was.
05:09And two of them, we didn't have to do much about it.
05:12And the execution that it deserves, it wasn't done rightly.
05:15But there's an element of luck sometimes as well and I think this season we should have scored four and
05:20we haven't.
05:21So, if we maintain that, I think throughout the season we'll be in really good numbers, especially if we generate
05:27the amount of situations that we do.
05:34And you have to adjust to the roles and what is allowed and what is not, that thing, but that
05:39opens another windows to the things that we want to do.
05:44And so, now you have to be created to the point as well that they will defend better, they will
05:47put more attention to that.
05:48So, we will open a score in a different way.
05:52And finally, Gary.
05:53We've got, yeah, since the channel's lead one, you've mentioned dominance quite a lot, and there was obviously a window
06:00in the summer that you could have strengthened and you maybe didn't get quite what you wanted, and there's going
06:05to be a window this summer.
06:06Now, I appreciate it's down to you and what you do on the pitch, but one of the arrivals could
06:13maybe not be the vision, but we don't know what's going to happen, but would you go now and actually
06:20think,
06:21if we as a club can put our foot down on the accelerator to take advantage of one of our
06:27rivals potentially having a punishment down the line, and would that now change your thinking of what you're going to
06:33do over the next few months?
06:35I think we control our accelerator, and believe me, for seven years it's been full gas in everything that we
06:43can do and taking every corner at max speed, but understanding what our strength are and the things that we
06:50can do.
06:50But you're going to have meetings soon about what kind of players you're going to go this summer.
06:54The whole type of players you can go for are going to open up in a way that may not
06:59have been available in the previous summers.
07:01Well, that's for sure, because when we arrived here as well, we didn't play the Champions League for seven years.
07:06We were in the Europa League, we were struggling with a lot of things, and those things have been restored,
07:12changed,
07:12and now the capacity and availability that we have not only to bring players but to do many other things
07:18in the football club is much larger.
07:21So we have to be very smart to make sure that we utilize every resource in the best possible way.
07:26Okay.
07:27Okay.
07:28Thanks, everyone.
