00:04Here it is, Apple's new iPhone Duo. Not the ultra, not the fold iPhone Duo. This is the
00:13incredible device and honestly this is pretty mind-blowing. You have a 5.4 inch display on the
00:19outside, 7.6 inch display on the inside, largest display ever on an iPhone. I don't know if you
00:26can notice this but Apple's done some pretty wild stuff here. There's no discernible crease. Why?
00:31Because they went with the nano texture on the display so there's basically no reflection.
00:37That's really something new. Inside is the A20 Pro chip, gonna be fast. It's going to be all ready
00:42for Siri AI. There are cameras on the outside. Now the two cameras are 48 megapixel main and a 2x
00:50optical zoom camera. So that means that you're going to get the zoom that you were hoping for.
00:55It's not 4x zoom. You have a camera on the outside. That's a center stage camera on the
01:00outside and you have a hidden FaceTime camera on the inside so you can't see it. This device
01:05is powerful. It's powerful enough for games. I was playing like 3D games, basically console
01:11level games. It's starting at $1,999 for 256 gigabytes of storage. This is really the most
01:20expensive iPhone ever. Oh, by the way, yes, it is the thinnest iPhone ever. You can see it right here.
01:26Thin, flat. Apple has officially entered the folding space. This is a shot across the bow for Samsung,
01:35which has been doing it for a really long time. It's an exciting phone. It's an expensive phone.
01:41Honestly, I'm kind of excited by what I'm seeing here.
01:46But how does it compare to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8? Well, these are two passport-shaped
01:50phones that fold out into 7.6-inch tablets and they both cost close to $2,000. But there are
01:55some key differences you should be aware of. At 5.4 inches, the iPhone Duo's cover display
01:59is a touch smaller than the Z Fold 8's 5.5-inch cover display and Apple's phone has asymmetrical
02:04bezels where the Galaxy is straight-edged all the way around. Both displays on the Duo have a 1.4
02:08-to-1
02:09aspect ratio, while the Z Fold 8 has a 10 by 16 ratio on its cover screen and a 4
02:13by 3 ratio on
02:14its inner screen. The Duo is also over 50 grams heavier than the Z Fold 8 and it's also slightly
02:18thicker when both folded and unfolded. But Apple's titanium phone gets a superior IP68 durability
02:23rating to the aluminium Galaxy's IP48 rating. Both phones have foldable-specific software,
02:28with the Z Fold 8 offering deep, multitasking features and the Duo featuring a really unique
02:32folding animation and support for the Apple Pencil. Then finally, on cameras, both the Duo and
02:36Z Fold 8 get two rear lenses, a 48-megapixel wide and ultra-wide for the iPhone and a 50
02:40-megapixel
02:41wide and ultra-wide for the Samsung. Neither phone gets a telephoto camera,
02:44which is a pretty big trade-off if you're spending close to $2,000.
