00:00coach has kind of gotten off the hot seat a little bit huge victory two weeks ago in happy valley
00:05follows it up consolidates it with another victory against michigan state wisconsin
00:09you're sitting there outside their loss to notre dame they're looking pretty good
00:13um is fick off the hot seat and what do you expect of the badgers the rest of the season
00:17yeah you know and i know knowing coach fickle he'll be probably checking to see who wins that
00:23to sail st charles game on friday knowing him he's still a couple years ago i was talking to him
00:28and
00:28just that that knows that he still is in tune and knows what's going on with central ohio football
00:34i thought was pretty cool thing um but yeah to gotta be happy for him that was an emotional
00:39victory against penn state they turn around and handle michigan state granted michigan state's
00:44down there starting running back but i think they've created some momentum and it's a lesson
00:49for this kind of world we live in in college football where we want to fire every coach every
00:55second that wisconsin stuck with him at the low point last year they've invested in some nil i think
01:02they're investing around luke fickle which is a smart move because if you go back to cincinnati he is
01:07incredible at talent development look at how many bearcats are in the nfl right now that he coached and
01:13that can have if that happens at wisconsin and they blend some of that in the old school principles that
01:18made the the uh you know the program good in the first place under barry alvarez then they can have
01:24some success and i'm happy you guys got to be happy for him he's he's another all-time good guy
01:28in the
01:28sport it's just tough like everybody's a lot of heat you got to get wins and they've got the wins
01:32so
01:33hopefully they'll be able to get a couple more big ones and i thought you i thought ucla would be
01:37an
01:37easier win early in the season that's going to be a tough one for them but great opportunity there
