00:00To win the T20 series, West Indies would have to be the first team to take consecutive wins
00:05off India in over four years. But even without some of their top players,
00:12India remained a juggernaut. But Rust and Chase found the first chink in their armour.
00:25Only a minor setback for the hosts as Andrew Samson and Ishan Kishan didn't miss a beat.
00:30India were in overdrive as Samson raced past his 50.
00:41Chase was the positive hand, striking two wickets at 158 for three.
00:45Length again, very, very difficult. However, Shema Springer got the prize wicket of Samson on 82.
00:52He's underneath it and takes it this time.
00:56But Trias Ayer and Telak Vama still had India on course for a big total.
01:01Powering India to their highest T20 total against the Wendy's, closing on 249 for five.
01:07And the fielder lets it go for four.
01:11That meant the West Indies would have to surpass their highest successful T20 run chase against
01:16India of 182. And it's been taken.
01:20And losing Kamil Puran and Shimran Hetmaya with five runs on the board didn't help.
01:25A bit of fuel behind you, that's what he had with the previous wicket.
01:29As always, the burden rested on the shoulders of skipper Shea Hope.
01:34And it got heavier when Rothman Powell departed at 58 for three.
01:43But a brilliant partnership of 120 between Hope and Sheafin Rutherford
01:48kept the visitors in the chase.
01:50His 14th in this form of the game.
01:54Rutherford departed on a well-played 84.
01:56There's an edge there, the banner's working.
01:59That was the breakthrough India wanted.
02:02That was the breakthrough Kuldeep has delivered.
02:04Leaving the Wendy's fortunes mainly on Hope.
02:09Just enough.
02:10Romario Shepard played his part too with a cameo 34 of 13.
02:15Flexes his muscle as well.
02:17But it was all about Hope who brought home a remarkable victory in style.
02:22This is a tour that has redefined the excellence of the West Indies captain Shea Hope.
02:32Second fastest 120 internationals for the West Indies.
02:38It is the highest successful run chase for them.
02:42And he says he loves batting in India.
02:45Terence Clark, TV6 Sports.
02:47And this is, again, the best...
02:48This is, again, the best...
