00:00Cleanup continues here in Panama City Beach today as crews are working on their day off to get their businesses
00:06back off and running.
00:07This is a family-owned business that's been here for decades.
00:11Now, we've seen a fair amount of damage here in Panama City Beach.
00:14We have video of several businesses that sustained roof damage, including several gas stations.
00:21Also, one of the major concerns in Panama City Beach over the weekend are the traffic lights.
00:26They are all out along the major strip here in Panama City Beach.
00:30The crews are working diligently to try and repair those.
00:33A lot of businesses are going to remain closed this weekend because there is no power to most of the
00:38buildings.
00:39But in terms of structural damage, this area fared very well.
00:43The winds were the signature here in Panama City Beach.
00:46We talked to a lot of folks that lived through Prairie King Michael and now ECES.
00:51They are saying they fared much better.
00:53I was here. I watched a snap of every tree, every power poke.
00:57There's no comparison.
00:58That's where we work. That's where we live. This pays our bills.
01:00You know what I'm saying? This is part of Panama City, which is what? Tourism.
01:04We love doing it. So that's why we come out here and do it every day.
01:07So it's going to be a weekend of hammering nails and restoring a lot of what ECES took down over
01:15Friday night.
01:16But the main thing is folks are telling us they're so relieved that this was not worse and that they
01:23endured this hurricane better than they thought.
01:25And it won't be as long before this area is back on the feet.
