00:00Hey everybody, how's it going? Today, let's take an in-depth look at this quite
00:05unique custom 1999 GMC Suburban. And this is going to be a full in-depth tour of
00:12the Suburban. We'll start it up, show the engine, go over the performance data, go
00:16over what's unique about the Choo Choo Custom Suburban, and show you a bunch of
00:20the features on the interior as well as exterior. And today, my Bombay Mary Hyundai
00:26in Monroe, North Carolina. And so, without further ado, let's start it up, let it run.
00:37Now this isn't quite your normal Suburban. Everyone's aware of the full-size vans put
00:42out by Ford, GM, as well as Dodge, that are taken by custom manufacturers to basically
00:48convert them into conversion vans, putting high luxury and comfort, and great for
00:53traveling. This particular vehicle was customized by a company, Choo Choo Customs,
01:01with a completely reworked interior, and absolutely loaded to the T with technology.
01:05It was fantastic for 1999. It's a dark blue exterior, two-tone champagne bottom, with brown
01:14leather interior, all custom, does have just over 140,000 miles on it. Beautiful.
01:45It's the full leather-wrapped steering wheel, very smooth power steering. Also standard is
01:54a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and low gear selection. And, let's go ahead,
02:03check out the headlights, fog lights, as well as the hazards. It's got an automatic driver's
02:10side window. And, we're going to check out the exterior, shall we? Standard halogen headlamps.
02:32Large square design gives it quite a commanding road presence.
02:43Scooped-out hood accents.
02:48Not much has really changed on the exterior of this Conversion Suburban. One of the notable
02:55things are the integrated running boards. Your standard 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels on
03:03Michelin tires. And, this Suburban is the 1500, and this particular one is two-wheel drive.
03:10Four-wheel drive was available.

03:31Integrated roof rails.
03:42This particular one has also been fitted with a custom set of dual exhausts.
03:50And, we're going to have LED third brake light up the top of the doors.
04:13Quite a large vehicle.

04:18The Suburban comes with a 5.7 liter V8.
04:26Produces 255 horsepower at 4600 RPM, and 330 foot-pounds of torque at 2800 RPM.
04:34It's got a massive 42-gallon fuel tank.
04:38With an EPA estimated fuel economy rating on regular unleaded gas, a 14 city, 18 highway.
04:46Had an original base price of around $25,000.
04:53For the more basic model that is.

05:51And they're also heated.

06:07And let's go and see if she sounds.

10:37And I fit back here just perfectly.

11:01And it pretty much goes the same for the other side.
