00:00If you love Metroidvanias, why not try a Castlevania game?
00:04Castlevania may be one half of the genre name, but according to Castlevania Belmont's Curse
00:08producer Tsutomu Taniguchi, many self-professed Metroidvania fans admit they've never played
00:14any games from the franchise.
00:16So he pitched a new game in the series after seeing lots of comments from Metroidvania fans
00:21who loved the genre, but had never actually played a Castlevania game.
00:25He says they might have seen the anime, but they'd never played the games.
00:29He explains,
00:30We also wanted to build more ways for new players to experience Castlevania, like the Dead Cells
00:36DLC.
00:36Of course, I also wanted to see something new, so I proposed Castlevania Belmont's Curse.
00:42Will you be playing Belmont's Curse when it releases in October?
