00:00Get everything ready then, for the first half of football.
00:09Before had Marseille, one of the great French clubs,
00:14lost four of their first five games in a Ligue 1 season.
00:18That's the situation they find themselves in at kickoff tonight.
00:22And as a consequence of that, they're in the relegation zone.
00:26As they have the first corner kick of the game.
00:40Crossed towards the back post.
00:42Watched all the way by De Lange, it's come off the top of the crossbar.
00:45It's still alive here. Marseille struggling to clear their lines.
00:58Toi, remember, have not won any of their last 19 home games in Ligue 1.
01:04That is the longest winless run at home in the history of the French top flight.
01:09Cross is collected by De Lange.
01:18Here is Camisoko, number 42, in the Marseille midfield this evening.
01:25Youngster starting for the first time.
01:27Ball into the box from the right, cleared away, but take the game to the home team.
01:33Camisoko, that's a good ball.
01:34Right to Paixiao on the left.
01:36Igor Paixiao from Marseille into the penalty box.
01:38Looking to curl one towards the far post.
01:42Not shended as a shot, but just a cheeky little dink into a dangerous area from Paixiao.
01:48He can be a real danger coming in off the left.
02:01One ball forward, played back the way towards Beech.
02:06It's a dangerous ball from the goalkeeper in Marseille's high press, pays off.
02:11Emerson Palmieri pounces on that ball.
02:15Picked up on the far side by Amin Harit.
02:21Against two defenders, lays it back for the cross in from Pesahaf.
02:24Punched away by the goalkeeper and then a high boot there.
02:33Ball down the line.
02:36Looking for Diawara on the left, but the offside flag is up.
02:43Harit, Marseille on the ball again.
02:48Guiri flighted across towards Paixiao.
02:51It was nodded down into the path of Angel Gomez by him.
02:54But Andrea Monfrey getting in Italy.
02:58Two have links with the Sicilian club because they're both part of the City football group.
03:07Second corner kick already in this game then for the home team.
03:12Low delivery towards the near post.
03:16Mix up between two Marseille players.
03:18Appeals for a handball there.
03:19Action continuing.
03:23Still not fully cleared.
03:25Eventually, the flag comes out again.
03:31It does hit the hand of Amin Harit, but it's very much little choice now but to turn to the
03:37youngsters and the reserve team because of lack of alternatives.
03:41They didn't make any signings in the summer transfer window.
03:43Remember, of course, that's been talked about an awful lot in France over the last six weeks or so since
03:49the transfer window shut.
03:54And for that, Paolo Gozzi, the Italian, a lot in the media here in the last few days about terrible
04:10illness which he was suffering from in his late 60s.
04:23Here come Tois on the break.
04:31Chance maybe on the edge of the box.
04:33It was a poor first touch.
04:35Le continues out to Maronnier.
04:38Could ball in from him and the header is over the bar.
04:47Striker who has the ability to score goals here in Ligue 1.
05:00Most of Tois forays forward coming down this right-hand side.
05:03Here is Maronnier.
05:10Ball into the penalty box is left by Egan Riley.
05:13Took a bit of a risk there.
05:14A bit of a breakdown in communication maybe.
05:17Egan Riley.
05:24Birri.
05:27Four at the start of this season.
05:29Four at the striker.
05:30Marseille with the corner.
05:34Swinging delivery.
05:36Headed away as far as Emerson.
05:39That's a good ball in from Emerson.
05:42Still alive here.
05:43Abdelhi.
05:44Shot from him, Adam Abdelhi.
05:47Think that so.
05:48Great delivery this from the captain tonight, Emerson.
05:51Difficult one for the Tois defence to clear.
05:53And a really important bit of defending there.
05:57It's Gotze.
05:59I mean Arit to take it.
06:02Same kind of delivery.
06:04And the referee is seed of foul there.
06:06It's going to be a free kick to Tois this time.
06:29The ball looking for Le Doirant.
06:34Well, that was a really long, but again, we see the aerial threat that he does pose.
06:46Third corner kick off the game then for the away team.
06:49There's half-time approaches here.
06:50Harit's delivery.
06:52Headed away at the near post.
06:55Maybe a chance on the break for the home team.
07:00We'll do our own challenge by Angel Gomez from behind.
07:02It's going to be a free kick and a booking as well for...
07:14There goes a half-time whistle.
07:16No time added on whatsoever at the end of the first half here tonight.
07:21Tois holding the Olympique de Marseille 0-0.
07:39So we're underway again in the second half here in Tois, the last match of the weekend in France.
07:46It's goalless between Tois and Marseille.
07:54No changes at the interval.
08:01Proper right back they have available to them.
08:03And Weah himself, of course, is capable of playing in other positions.
08:09There's half filling in tonight with Weah suspended.
08:13Here come Marseille again with Paixiao.
08:16Camisoko to Emerson Palmieri.
08:19It's a good cross and it's a goal for Marseille.
08:23Amin Harit breaks the deadlock.
08:26Five minutes into the second half.
08:31A game that needed a spark from somewhere.
08:35It's got it now.
08:37The Marseille fans celebrate.
08:40And could their team's losing run.
08:44Good build-up from the away side.
08:48Paixiao coming in from the left.
08:50Camisoko with the ball to Emerson Palmieri and his cross.
08:56Finding Harit arriving at the back post.
08:58Paolo Gozzi, the left back for Tois, being sucked in to the middle there.
09:02Harit was left free and his finish goes between the legs of Patrick Beach in goal.
09:08Harit gets his first goal of the season.
09:10His first goal from Marseille in a long...
09:27Let's see if Tois can come back into this.
09:30They haven't scored in either of their last two matches.
09:32There's the shot from outside the area.
09:38Lacky, any real power is off target.
09:40De Lange, I think, had his post covered.
09:47That's why looking for an equalizer.
09:54Diawara's ball.
09:55High delivery.
09:56Too high.
10:01Still alive here, though.
10:03It's come off his half and it will be a quarter kick.
10:08Diawara taking it.
10:09It's good delivery.
10:11Guiri struggling to clear his lines.
10:13A shot comes in.
10:17Still alive.
10:18Diawara again.
10:19That's a good ball.
10:20And it's collected by De Lange.
10:22Rave commanding goalkeeping for the Dutchman.
10:24Tonight's game, but also the busy fixture list ahead for them.
10:27Diawara's cross.
10:29De Lange watched it all the way.
10:30It was a collision with his own player.
10:32Naïf Aguert.
10:40I mean, Aïf Aguert fresh from scoring his first Marseille goal in almost exactly two years.
10:45October 2024.
10:47Roberto Di Zerbi in a 5-0 win at Montpellier.
10:52And given Marseille the lead tonight, takes the free kick here.
10:56It's a bit too close to Patrick Beach.
10:59You watched that all.
10:59Experienced forward, Renault Ripa.
11:03The final half hour here.
11:09Go on a plate short.
11:13All into the middle looking for the substitute.
11:19Still alive.
11:20It's a dangerous header.
11:22Real power.
11:40Challenge.
11:43Between Dermann Kerim.
11:46Easily.
11:47Kemi Soko.
11:49Tripped up.
11:53Felt that one.
11:5521.
12:13We'll pay the substitute.
12:15Abdallah, who's come off the bench as well.
12:17Kinyan Abdallah.
12:1920-year-old.
12:22Abdeli.
12:29Find Emerson Palmieri arriving on the left-hand side.
12:46It's been given away.
12:49Abdallah looking for Mopé in the middle.
12:52Mopped up by Montfrey.
12:55And the control from Piquard, the substitute.
12:58It's been brought in from Major League Soccer.
13:03Dermann Kerim.
13:04Back to the right here.
13:08Dangerous cross on the header by Renault Ripa.
13:11150 appearances in a top flight of French football.
13:15He scored goals at this level.
13:17And that was a real opportunity for a player of his experience.
13:24Bureus, just outside Athens.
13:25They'll be making the trip to the velodrome.
13:29Pyakos, who were the runners-up in Greece last season.
13:33Ripa.
13:34Shot blocked by Egan Riley.
13:40Dermann Kerim.
13:42Here come the home side.
13:46Delanger looking to come and meet that cross, which took a deflection.
13:52Turned into the middle again by the head of Bartola.
13:57Collected by...
14:08There's the shot from Nkada.
14:11Nkada.
14:14It's one of the new signings on loan from Stendhal-Liege in Belgium.
14:20A bit more quality than that.
14:23Free kick here.
14:36The car's delivery met by the head of Timote and Nkada.
14:40And straight into the...
14:53Towards the near post.
14:54And it's going to be picked up by Bezaaf.
14:56Well, let's see if Marseille can finish this off now.
15:00Felyan Abdallah.
15:01A bit of space for them to run into.
15:05And Banya couldn't bring it under control.
15:07With Abdallah again.
15:12No added on time whatsoever at the end of the first half.
15:18A couple of brief interruptions for treatment.
15:22And plenty of substitutions.
15:23Ball in and Ripa's shot comes off the upright.
15:31Well, the Marseille goal living a charmed life there.
15:34Great effort from Renault Ripa.
15:36First time.
15:37Side foot volley.
15:39De Lange was nowhere near that.
15:41Mentally going forward.
15:43They need the win tonight.
15:44Ball in from the left this time.
15:46And the header again.
15:50Well, that was...
15:53Great delivery.
15:56And the free header.
16:01And now then.
16:03Patrick Beach coming out.
16:04He's conceded the penalty.
16:07And Marseille will have a chance to wrap up the points right at the end of injury.
16:13Long ball downfield.
16:15Not dealt with by the two central defenders.
16:18Patrick Beach, the Australian, coming flying off his line.
16:23And Faris Mumbanya knocked that ball past him.
16:26Then I think he anticipated the contact.
16:28But it is going to be a spot kick.
16:32Patrick Beach has been yellow carded for that challenge.
16:36And after coming up against the mighty Brazilians twice in the last couple of weeks.
16:44I'll be hoping to keep out Marseille at this penalty.
16:50But it's all academic, really.
16:52Whatever happens here.
16:53Marseille have surely seen this over the line.
16:56Himad Abdelhi right at the death to wrap up the points.
16:58He does.
17:00And it's 2-0 to Marseille.
17:03There were some anxious moments in the latter stages of this game.
17:07But they're going to leave here with all three points.
17:11Their first victory since the opening night of the campaign.
17:15Back on track.
17:20Cooley converted by the Algerian international Abdelhi.
17:29Players had a difficult start to his Marseille career.
17:34That is a win then.
17:362-0.
17:36Ruginès is still not happy.
17:38Even though they get their result.
17:41Good points.
17:42That puts them 13th in the standings.
17:47It is now Ossert, Kouap, and Le Avere in the relegation spots.
17:52With this, they have it.
17:53The promotion, relegation, playoffs, 2-1.
17:54The nichts so bad.
17:57That's it.
18:00So good.
18:03The goal isnt, Kouap.
18:04Peace out.
18:04Peace out.
18:04Peace out.
18:04So good.
18:04Peace out.
