After a lifetime of sacrifice, Susan Amberton dies betrayed by the two people she trusted most — her husband Ian and their adopted son Conner, who steals her fortune after revealing a shocking secret: he is Ian’s illegitimate child.
Given a second chance at life, Susan returns to the day Ian brings Conner home. Instead of exposing their lies, she plays the role of a loving wife and caring mother, secretly setting a trap to make them destroy each other.
