The introduction of the new long-range plug-in hybrid powertrain for the Volvo XC60 coincides with a comprehensive design and technology upgrade. The redesigned front and rear sections give the premium mid-size SUV a more contemporary and dynamic appearance. The radiator grille, bumpers, hood, and front fenders have been revised; together with the new wheels, they showcase an elegant interpretation of Volvo’s Scandinavian design language.
The new design of the "Thor’s Hammer" headlights is particularly striking: the iconic light signature has been distilled to its purest, clearest form, underscoring the vehicle's technical sophistication. Furthermore, the headlights now feature advanced Matrix LED technology. The tailgate, LED taillights, and rear bumper have also been redesigned. A stronger emphasis on horizontal lines gives the vehicle a more powerful, confident presence.
Inside, the dashboard and door panels have been redesigned. Combined with new wood trim and optional ventilated Nappa leather in Cardamom, they create a serene, Scandinavian-inspired cabin—accentuated by high-quality ambient lighting.
