NOTE: I decided to set the video as "For Kids" again due to YouTube's policies. I really wish comments could be allowed, and I totally would, but they have set a couple of my other videos to this setting and I don't want to risk the channel further by setting it otherwise. Sorry folks, but I hope you'll still enjoy this piece of US cable television history. Thanks for watching.
On the morning of Sunday, October 10, 2010, Discovery Kids was shut down and replaced with The Hub, which is now known as Discovery Family. This video contains commercials from the last program aired on Discovery Kids (Kenny the Shark), and the first program aired on The Hub (The Twisted Whiskers Show), complete with the transition between the two channels. I have included the last minute of Discovery Kids including the countdown clock, and the first minute or so of The Hub.
