00:00What's the message about this new partner?
00:05Well, of course, the U.S. is our biggest ally, but our message is clear.
00:10If we want to end this war, the only way we can do this is putting more pressure.
00:15Good morning.
00:17Good morning. So, we have a full day ahead.
00:20We discuss foreign interference.
00:24We discuss also the issues regarding different topics.
00:30But, of course, the main topic is war in Ukraine.
00:34We have now 1,600 listings that we are putting forward regarding the Russian military industrial complex,
00:43but also the Shamil actions in Russia regarding the occupied territories of Ukraine.
00:49Then, of course, we welcome the energy ceasefire when it holds.
00:55We haven't yet seen that also Russia will stick to it.
01:02Of course, personally, I would also welcome that the ceasefire would include people not being killed.
01:07Not only energy, but also energy is extremely important because the winter is going to be cold.
01:14And so, it's important that it doesn't only apply to the refineries where Ukraine has one and Russia has plenty.
01:22So, it's definitely in the benefit of the Russians.
01:27So, we have Minister Sibiha here also joining us, giving really first-hand knowledge from Ukraine.
01:38And then on Middle East, we, of course, condemn the escalative attacks by the Houthis on the airports,
01:47and also express our condolences for the people who have lost their lives.
01:52And there, we have the discussion, what more can we do in this?
01:57Yesterday, I also spoke to the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal.
02:02What more can we do?
02:04We have operational speed as also their call was that we would strengthen this operation
02:09so that it would work hand in hand with their international force to keep Bab el-Mandeb open,
02:18and also the commercial ships getting out of the Red Sea.
02:23And then we also will get to a decision regarding the mission in Lebanon.
02:31So, we will establish a new mission in Lebanon.
02:35It has a civilian and military pillar.
02:39And if we are going to adopt this decision, so we hope also that this operation,
02:46this mission will be ready to work on the ground already in a couple of months' time.
02:53And I was just in Lebanon last week.
02:55This is highly welcomed by the local authorities.
02:59And, of course, we have many other topics on the table.
03:03So, we hope that we get it all done by this time when we have to finish it.
03:12Well, this time the topic of Georgia.
03:14I also ask the Manicalis, you will talk again about sanctions.
03:17Don't you think that it is time for a dialogue with the Georgian government?
03:20Do you continue, like, recording the Georgian government and talking about sanctions?
03:26We will discuss Georgia very briefly today.
03:29But I will also propose that we have an in-depth discussion regarding Georgia in January.
03:36I represent you. What is your reaction to the Trump-Putin-Diesel deal?
03:40Doesn't this go against everything you've been working for in Russia?
03:44Well, that's why we are, of course, continuing our path.
03:48We are now adopting 1,600 listings because we only see that pressure on Russia would work.
03:55Russia has started this war. We should not forget about this.
03:59We should put the pressure on Russia so that they will stop.
04:03Because if they stop, Ukrainians also don't have to, you know, take any steps to defend that country.
04:10And that is what is all at stake.
04:13So, this kind of deal, of course, we hope that this ceasefire will hold, but we haven't seen it holding
04:21so far.
04:21Why do you think sanctions are working? Why are you always saying that sanctions work?
04:27You didn't see anything against it?
04:29Well, that's not true, actually. We are seeing a lot.
04:33I mean, the Russians have, the sanctions have deprived them of 1 trillion euros.
04:39And that's 1 trillion euros is not going to fund this war.
04:43Also, the actions that we are doing regarding the Shadow Fleet are making, you know,
04:49their efforts to fund this war much, much harder.
04:53Yes, of course, they are also creative, finding new ways to circumvent the sanctions.
04:58But we are also more agile in, you know, putting this always on the table.
05:04In last 10 FACs, we have actually decided new listings.
05:09And because we have to be really seeing what they are doing so that we can reply.
05:15But it would work so much better if our partners from the UK and from the US would be aligned
05:23with us.
05:23The UK is aligned with us.
05:26But if the US would be aligned, if they would enact the Graham bill regarding Russia,
05:34we could really put the pressure so that Russia will finish this war.
05:39What is the reaction to Donald Trump calling for new elections in Ukraine?
05:45Well, every, almost every constitution has, you know, provision that when you have a war going on,
05:53then you can't have elections.
05:54And I understand that President Zelensky has also said that if there would be a ceasefire,
06:00then he's willing to have the elections as soon as possible.
06:05But elections are always fighting, you know, between different groups inside the country
06:10while the attacks are coming from outside.
06:13And that's why it is really important to keep the people together while the war is going on.
06:18If the pressure is put on Russia so that they will stop this war, I'm sure that Ukraine will have
06:24elections.
06:25What is the message to Donald Trump about this?
06:30Well, of course, US is our biggest ally.
06:34But our message is clear.
06:35If we want to end this war, the only way we can do this is putting more pressure on Russia.
06:40And we would call on US to put the sanctions in place so that actually we could finish this war.
06:48And all these effects of, you know, attacks on refineries would not be there,
06:54would not be necessary if the war is over.
06:57OK, thank you.
