00:00She does confirm that a man fell off of this rollercoaster and actually hit them.
00:06They have this man's blood on their outfits right now.
00:10This is a horrific tragedy that has unfolded at Six Flags over Atlanta this afternoon.
00:14Right now, officials not confirming, but an eyewitness who was on that coaster just confirmed on the phone with me.
00:21Our newsroom was listening, and I'll tell you the faces, it's horrific.
00:25As we listen to the details, she says that this man was on the ride with his child.
00:29It was a man, child, child, and another person.
00:33When they got back to the actual area where they come back, the man was missing.
00:39People were screaming, and his apparently wife was at the bottom watching them.
00:44They say that he actually hit the coaster several times after he came out of his seat.
00:49So as you can imagine, this is going to be with these people that were on this ride forever,
00:55something they didn't ever imagine would happen to them, unfolded this afternoon on this Goliath rollercoaster.
01:02Again, officials not confirming these details to us, but eyewitnesses now telling our newsroom,
01:07again, a man did fall off of this coaster a short time ago.
01:10They say the coaster you're looking at, this was the second group on, so that is why they're stuck,
01:15because it was the other coaster is where this man supposedly fell off from.
01:20They said it was during the last dip is when he came out of his seat.
01:24Again, it's unclear how this happened.
01:26Was it a malfunction?
01:27Obviously, it was a malfunction of some type, but we do not know those details.
01:31Obviously, I'm sure Six Flags working on that now.
01:34Main priority is obviously being with this man's family and all of those who witnessed this horrific tragedy this afternoon,
01:40and also to get these individuals off of this train who were stuck on the Goliath and back down to
01:46safety.
01:47We're told when this train got back to the area where it returns, people were screaming to get off of
01:53that train.
01:54They say the Park Service wasn't letting them out.
01:57They kept screaming, someone has fallen off, someone has fallen off.
02:00But they couldn't get out fast enough.
02:02They wanted to get off of that train.
02:04Again, people on that train have blood on them from this fall.
02:08And even more devastating is this was captured on camera.
02:14This young woman I just spoke to says the man who fell from that seat is in her Goliath picture
02:20they give you to take home.
02:22They can see him out of the seat and in the air when the moment that picture was taken of
02:28them on the Goliath.
02:30Again, I can't tell you how awful this is for those folks.
02:33If you could hear this young woman on the phone, she was visibly shaken, as you can imagine.
02:37Everyone on that train, on that coaster at the time, obviously visibly shaken up after Whitney saw this this afternoon.
02:44Good night.
02:45Good night.
02:45Good night.
02:45Thank you all.
