00:00Something that's really unique here at Leica is the fact that we make our own fabrics here
00:04on site. We've only got one fabric in the film that was off the shelf and that's Prue's socks.
00:11Everything else we create in-house in order to make it in this world and make it believable.
00:17There's different techniques that we use to create the fabric so some of that is embroidery
00:21and you know the family unit here it's a story point that dad's a knitter and we're not going
00:27to use knitting in this scale because one item might end up bigger than the other so we have
00:32to develop a way of creating something that looks like knitting but isn't.
00:36So with Mac he has got a number of elements in his costume. We print the fabric so it has
00:42different
00:42colours underneath before we then embroider the different parts of the hat and then we hand sew
00:48everything together so it looks like it's one piece and then this is hand crocheted and then
00:53wired in so that it's animatable as well.
