00:00Well it is the first ever meeting between the two teams, Sabah's first against
00:05opponents from Czechia. Slavia Praha have 18 goals between them in all
00:11competitions over the course of this season so far. David Moses is also
00:17recalled to the middle of midfield among those unavailable due to injury. Well
00:22after so much talk and excitement ever since the league phase fixtures were
00:27released, the waiting is over. A historic night in Baku begins, Sabah's first ever home
00:34game. Katilov taking the direct route, they haven't really managed to get the
00:37front man Mikkels into the game so far but here he is. He's picked the pass for
00:43Simic and Paris that Sabah have enjoyed. It is being checked by VAR perhaps for a
00:55possible offside.
01:08Give it away, straight away. Now the encounter is on Promet in the middle, Chori it's just
01:14over his head. AOC cuts it square, Chori off the line.
01:21Solve in the way.
01:25It was given away straight from the goal kick, Storm was on to it. Over the head of Chori initially,
01:31well won back by AOC. Cutting it back to Chori and Solve gets back to clear it off the line.
01:48Chori just stumbling almost at the vital moment. It is a terrific and vital interception to keep Sabah level.
02:02And it is half time on a night where Sabah thought they'd scored, had a goal disallowed through VAR.
02:10Steve Solve got another off the line. Sabah 0, Slavia Praha 0.
02:18So it is goalless it Baku as the game resumes and historic night for Sabah of course.
02:25Their first ever home match in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
02:29It is a great thing.
02:33Duque Roche and now Lepinitson, finding himself in a, certainly a more full position than you'd usually expect.
02:41Paris!
02:45Oh yes!
02:48That one will count and Sabah have their moment of history!
03:01Bill check to AOC.
03:05Chori waits in the middle, it's Provence!
03:07He got no real power behind it, there was no great conviction in the shot.
03:13Azerbaijan, prior to tonight, winning three of those.
03:16Now they need a goal here.
03:19Delivered in by Sadilek.
03:22And the goalkeeper makes the save!
03:25And somehow it's turned away!
03:34Bravo took a swing at it, and then Zadatka gets back on the line, but does he get back with
03:40a hand?
03:42It's a magnificent first save.
03:49And does it come off the arm of Zadatka?
03:51So VAR is checking for a potential handball here.
04:03Moses, that's a clever ball.
04:07AOC!
04:11Able to hit the target.
04:13The goalkeeper probably would have got there.
04:19The second half.
04:20Vilcek back to Viktor Novak!
04:26He's very close.
04:29Mokotilov will argue that he had it covered.
04:37Five goals for Viktor Novak since joining the club in the summer.
04:47Ahead of Bayern Gesson.
04:48Not entirely convincing away by Zima.
04:51Mickles trying to get in behind.
04:53Zima's there again.
04:56Novak, as I say, has been in fine scoring form.
05:02Now Moses.
05:06Barak Suleiman.
05:10Barak Suleiman.
05:12He's locked off by Paris.
05:14It's come back to David Moses.
05:16And the header is straight to the goalkeeper from Chori.
05:21Cleared away by Ngeson.
05:24Simic on the run.
05:26Simic could be through here.
05:28And Wachukwu can only turn it straight at the goalkeeper.
05:36Good layoff that by Chitil.
05:39Now the long range effort is on!
05:41And it wasn't too far away.
05:52Too overzealous with the run.
05:53Novak made the initial challenge to win it back.
05:56Now Mubarek Suleiman.
05:58Suleiman goes for it!
06:00Well handled by Pokotilov.
06:13To Pravot.
06:15Slavia Praha not giving up hope of a point just yet.
06:21To Pravot.
06:21Cleared away by Kai Bulaev.
06:31Lepinitsa has been terrific tonight for Sabah.
06:36Among a number of very impressive individual performances.
06:39Long throw by Kubiak.
06:41Suleiman was up there.
06:43Cleared away was from Mubina.
06:53Kubiak.
06:55Kubiak.
06:55Kubiak.
06:56Hed away by Dash Demirov.
06:59Rakmodaliev.
07:00Oh and now here's the chance from Mubina.
07:03Goalkeeper out very quickly.
07:04But it has dropped to Mikkels.
07:07Mikkels can he seal it here?
07:09Oh and it's gonna go in!
07:11Win!
07:21But keep it out.
07:22He could not.
07:27And the ball trickles over the line.
07:33Mikkels going up again.
07:35And now this is Mubina.
07:36Could it be three?
07:40Lepinitsa.
07:43Rakmodaliev!
07:44Well tipped over by the goalkeeper.
07:50The O seat is possessed now.
07:53And away by Zadatka.
07:56This is...
07:58Probably should have kept out the goal bound effort from Mikkels but couldn't.
08:02Proworks.
08:03Proworks.
08:04Sturm.
08:05Proworks.
08:06And the goalkeeper keeps it out.
08:10Oh wow.
08:15He might have seen it late as well.
08:18Either way goalkeeper kept it out.
08:20and with a little bit of good fortune in tow, Mbina, now Mikos, to his left is Wachukwu,
08:30through towards Mbina, and Mikos again, Rakmon Aliev to Selic, turned away by Markovic,
08:38and it really is opening up now. It is all in vain now for Slavia Praha, only the final whistle
08:46remains.
08:50And they have done it! The champions of Azerbaijan!
