00:00All week long, I get they were, they had to say what they said,
00:04where it's not more juice.
00:05We want to be the best defense we can be.
00:07That's what it is.
00:08They were given some just regular media speak.
00:10There was a different type of juice on that defense.
00:12Every hit felt a little bit more powerful and angry.
00:15From the linebackers to the defensive line to the safeties,
00:19they were playing angry.
00:20And coming into it, I was fine with it.
00:23Jesse Minter acknowledged it.
00:24We're going to get beat by the pass a little bit.
00:26And we saw it on the 96-yard drive.
00:29They got beat a little bit because they were doing everything they could
00:31to take Bijan away.
00:32You're fine with that when it's bend, don't break.
00:34You're going to give up touchdowns against that offense.
00:36You just are.
00:37They are that good.
00:38But on the flip side, they got off the field a ton of times they needed.
00:42Now, as you mentioned, 9 for 17 on third down.
00:46And a number of those were behind the sticks.
00:48Third and 8's 2, third and 11.
00:50They were allowing first downs they shouldn't be.
00:53And they're going to have to clean that up.
00:55But outside of that, it felt like they knew their backs were against the wall.
00:59That was adversity.
01:00That was them hearing all of the talk all year.
01:03Well, we thought the offense was going to be a work in progress
01:05with a first-time play caller.
01:06The offense hasn't figured out the defense is holding this team back.
01:09Okay, they go out last night in Atlanta, Sunday Night Football primetime
01:12stand-alone game, and the defense played their asses off.
01:16I get it.
01:16They couldn't get off the field on some third downs.
01:18They need to get better at that.
01:19They need to finish some more sacks.
01:21But they were angry.
01:22They were playing physical.
01:24We all have been asking for this.
01:26They were playing physical, but it wasn't penalty physical.
