Volkswagen has specifically incorporated customer feedback into the development of the new ID. Tiguan, implementing numerous improvements and advanced technologies. Take the cockpit layout, for instance: a key highlight is the "front passenger display" (12-inch/30.5 cm diagonal)—offered for the first time in a European Volkswagen. Also new are the 10-inch driver display ("Digital Cockpit"/25.4 cm diagonal) and the central 15-inch infotainment display (38.1 cm diagonal). Together, they form a continuous display landscape that opens up a new world of infotainment, information, and gaming specifically for the front passenger—without distracting the driver. Much like a laptop privacy screen, the front passenger display is not visible to the driver ("Privacy Mode"). In this private mode, the passenger can listen to audio via their paired Bluetooth headphones.
