उत्तर प्रदेश में ज़िला शामली के ग्रामीण इलाकों में इस साल हुई भारी बारिश के चलते कच्चे मकान ढह गए और कुछ लोग छत गिरने की वजह से हादसे का शिकार हो गए है जिसकी वजह से कई लोगों की जान तक चली गई है जिसके चलते लोगो के सर से छत गायब है लोग झोपड़ी और किराए पर दूसरो के मकानों में रह रहे है शासन- प्रशासन द्वारा अभी तक ऐसे परिवारों का केवल सर्वे कराया गया है लेकिन ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि अभी तक कोई कार्यवाही नहीं की गई है जिससे उन्हें सर पर छत मिल सके आज भी ज़िला शामली के ये परिवार अपने पक्के मकान बनने की राह देख रहे है

In the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district, this year's heavy rains resulted in the collapse of makeshift, kaccha houses. Some people even suffered accidents due to roofs caving in, resulting in loss of lives. As a result, many people are now roofless and living in shanties or rented accommodations belonging to others. The government has so far conducted surveys of these affected families, but according to the villagers, no concrete action has been taken to provide them with proper shelter. Today, these families in Shamli are struggling to build their own permanent homes.
