"He Called Me Fat. The Don Called Me Wife" is an empowering, romantic comedy and mafia protection short drama series packed with sweet revenge and irresistible chemistry. Our female lead is a witty, full-figured bakery owner whose corporate ex-fiancé mercilessly fat-shamed her in front of his wealthy colleagues, publicly breaking off their engagement at an upscale restaurant and calling her an embarrassment.
Heartbroken but proud, she storms out into a torrential downpour, accidentally saving a critically wounded stranger trapped inside a bullet-ridden limousine. Unbeknownst to her, the man she patched up with sterile kitchen towels and hot pastries is the city's most feared, untouchable mafia Don! Enchanted by her soft heart, fiery spirit, and voluptuous beauty, the crime lord falls head-over-heels in love, putting a ten-carat diamond on her finger and fiercely declaring her his wife.
The electrifying climax hits at an elite high-society charity ball where her shallow ex-fiancé attempts to mock her appearance to his elite friends. Breathless shock and paralyzing terror seize the hall as an army of armored black limousines pulls up, and the feared Don enters in tailored splendor, pulling the full-figured heroine into a passionate embrace before the press. Announcing her as his legal wife and bankrupting her ex's company in seconds, the Don proves that true elegance knows no bounds.
