00:03you're probably still cranking out games on a 24-inch monitor or a cheap tv stick and the
00:08biggest gripe you have is the cramped screen and the lag when you try to stream netflix on the
00:13same device here's the thing what if you could flip that setup on its head with a single portable
00:19projector that actually respects the numbers you care about right now most portable projectors
00:24either wash out colors choke on 4k input or force you into a mess of cables and adapters
00:30the hpmc 475 cuts through that noise by giving you true native 1080p picture quality right out of the
00:38box it takes a 4k hdmi source whether that's your ps5 xbox series x or a streaming box and downscales
00:48it to crisp full hd detail so you still see every texture on a distant mountain range or every
00:54flicker of a fast-moving fps enemy the built-in image processor boosts contrast and saturation
01:00without the artificial soap opera look so you get vivid colors that stay true to the source material
01:07what makes this thing feel less like a projector and more like a console accessory is the built-in
01:12app center netflix youtube prime video no extra dongle no hdmi switch you just fire up the remote
01:21pick the app and you're watching the latest episode in a room that could be a dorm a bedroom or
01:27the back
01:27of a van the wireless screen mirroring works with both ios and android so you can toss a game trailer
01:34from your phone onto the big screen in a second no cables required the short throw lens is where the
01:40magic meets real world space constraints at a 0.8 to 1 ratio you get a 100 inch image from
01:47just under 6 feet
01:47away that means you can set it up in a college apartment without having to move a couch three
01:52rooms over the 90 degree rotation lets you flip the image onto a ceiling for a lounge style setup
01:59perfect for those late night co-op sessions where you're sprawled on the floor power is another win
02:04the projector runs off a 65 watt usbc charger or any compatible power bank so you can take it camping
02:11on an rv trip or just pop it in your backpack for a backyard movie night
02:16it doesn't have an internal battery which keeps the weight down and the price honest but you'll
02:21need a decent power source something to keep in mind if you're planning a truly off-grid experience
02:27audio isn't an afterthought either you get a built-in speaker that's decent for casual gaming
02:32or a quick video and you can pair it via bluetooth to a separate sound system or plug a headset
02:38into the
02:383.5 millimeters jack the voice controlled remote handles auto focus and auto keystone so the picture
02:45stays sharp and square even if you nudge the projector a few inches the one thing i'd flag is
02:51the lack of an internal battery if you forget your power bank or are stuck without an outlet the unit
02:56goes
02:57dark it's a trade-off that lets hp keep the device light and affordable but you'll need to plan your
