00:00Middle finger.
00:01We brought it here and it had those fuckers inside.
00:05We'll do it with two and whether it's a fuck you or fuckers.
00:13In our game, your origin changes more than a few dialogue options.
00:17It affects how people treat you and what you notice around you.
00:20If you play as a belter, our belters might treat you as one of their own.
00:23You understand words and gestures that offer on Martian might simply miss.
00:27We wanted a choice to stay with you throughout the game.
00:29That's why we worked closely with experts on Langbelter and belter gestures.
00:33Time to get our heads out of our asses.
00:37One of the things that makes the game different from the show
00:41is that you are really directly interacting with the language
00:44in a way that you aren't when you're simply watching it and having it.
00:52Belters don't always speak Langbelter.
00:54And in the Expanse Osiris Reborn, that became really important.
00:58They switch between English and Langbelter all the time.
01:01But when things get emotional, when someone's really angry, scared, or being honest,
01:06Langbelter often comes out.
01:11From the beginning, we knew these gestures needed to feel like a natural part of belter culture.
01:19Especially the more expressive individuals, who often say as much with their hands as with their words.
01:27During the motion capture sessions, we constantly tested and refined the performances.
01:33Some gestures worked beautifully on an actor, but felt unclear once they were transferred onto a belter character.
01:42Different body proportions and camera framing changed how they read on screen.
01:48So we adjusted the choreography until every movement felt clear and believable.
01:57A belter can leave the belts, but the belt never truly leaves them.
02:01Their appearance, language, culture, and gestures make them instantly recognizable.
02:06Langbelter is more than just a language. It's a reflection of belter identity.
02:11You will definitely feel that belters have their own physical language.
02:16Motion helps make the expanse Osiris Reborn feel like a real place with its own culture.
02:23What a check.
02:25verge point a If you are young, first, far after your ancestors and your ancestors and country
02:29Why not?
