We finally hit 10K, and the celebration turns into a funny Ask Me Anything packed with Berlin nightlife, German stereotypes, and offbeat personal stories. With the clubs closed, the party goes digital as the questions roll in about glowing in the dark, where he grew up in southern Germany, favorite clubs like Matrix, Renate, and KitKat, and what life in Berlin is really like.

He also talks about Russian friends, politics, staring in Germany, winter fur coats from Saint Petersburg, and the future of Berlin clubs during the Covid situation. Along the way, he shares his favorite areas in Friedrichshain, his love of volleyball and ping pong, thoughts on Leipzig, and why Berlin still feels like a city full of discovery, humor, and changing neighborhoods.

This is laid-back comedy commentary mixed with Berlin travel talk, Germany culture, nightlife chat, and a casual Q&A format. If you enjoy Berlin vlog style videos, German lifestyle content, club culture, expat stories, and funny question-and-answer sessions, this one fits right in. Created for viewers searching for Berlin AMA, Germany nightlife, Berlin clubs, expat life in Berlin, and humorous German culture commentary.

00:00what's up guys it finally happened we just hit 10k yesterday we should
00:08celebrate it with a party but wait all clubs are closed damn damn damn damn
00:15what about tele disco hell yeah okay now we can get to the questions but let me
00:28first tell you that it's really great to have you here I do appreciate all the
00:33support and the love you give me and it wouldn't be the same without you thank
00:39you to all of you watching it really means a lot to me and still this is just
00:44the beginning I've got plenty of more stuff to cover about Berlin and Germany
00:49or wherever I go I'm learning with every video something new and I hope the
00:56videos will continue to get better for you guys of course and for myself I just
01:01enjoy doing this let's get to the questions we'll do the most important one
01:06first Michael Gribben is asking do you glow in the dark actually I don't know we
01:15should try turn the light off please what awesome guess I glow in the dark after
01:27all and we have Sergei from which country region are you originally I am from a very
01:36dark place a place you should never go and that is the South Germany people know it as
01:43but Wittenberg don't go there it sucks it's hell of a day is asking in which
01:51club you party the most and how old are you well isn't that obvious I go to the
01:59matrix my favorite club in Berlin I am there every day of the year it's open 365
02:07days a year but other than that my other like top free clubs I spent the most time
02:14in would be this was Renate and Kit Kat I love Kit Kat and the other one was how old
02:25are you
02:27oh that's a really tough one actually I don't remember I stopped counting when I was like 20 or
02:35something but I can tell you so much when I was young this was my first phone I played
02:42Pokemon on this thing here and I remember when the internet was making this annoying noise
02:52next one is do you have any Russian friends I need to know where did you get
02:57those stereotypes from no I do not have any Russian friends I have the best Russian friends they teach
03:07me drinking vodka and hunting wolves and sometimes I am Russian myself
03:17duh honza is asking where do you stand politically I don't know you tell me sometimes I'm left sometimes
03:26I'm right but most of the time I'm in the middle no really I'm not into politics next question is
03:33from
03:33Rebecca the first one is who is your all-time favorite DJ I don't have such thing there's just
03:43too much great music out there I couldn't even give you like a top 20 because there's so much great
03:50music out there and every year it's getting more it's insane and the second one is why do German people
03:57stare what and what does it mean yeah really do German stare a lot this is the first time I'm
04:07hearing
04:08about that but I guess I'm staring a lot at people too yeah that's that's my hobby probably and in
04:17the
04:17S-Bahn at least I would guess maybe you're hot or you just look interesting or Germans are just weird
04:25people in general is it really a thing what do you guys think but yeah I remember that when I
04:31was
04:31living in London for half year people there didn't make much eye contact I think maybe people in the
04:38UK just mind their own business much more than here here it's more like you look what the other person
04:45is doing you always look what's going on is this person behaving correctly it's like leftovers from
04:53history the stars is looking always what you're doing next we have how much could a really fluffy
05:01winter fur coat cost to get in Berlin and where to get such stuff this one is not from Berlin
05:12it's
05:13actually from Russia I got it in st. Petersburg in the bazaar I have never seen it here in Berlin
05:20but if I
05:22were to get one it would be yes Humana that's right and the flea markets the flea markets have
05:31a lot of furry stuff or probably you can get some in Charlottenburg since there are a lot of Russians
05:38living there they must have like super expensive shops for Russians from Russians who sell stuff like
05:46that what do you think that will happen with clubs in Berlin with the covid situation that's a very good
05:53question and it is a very sad answer I think the longer the situation lasts the more clubs will die
06:03and never reopen again and I think that it will be quite a lot like I could even imagine like
06:1250% of the
06:13clubs or more shutting down because they just run out of money yeah it will be very sad for Berlin
06:21very sad for the people in the industry it for sure will recover at some point but it will take
06:29years
06:31and it probably will never be the same again but Berlin for sure is not giving up on its nightlife
06:40scene
06:40there's just too many people who love to party and hopefully for every club that has to shut down
06:47there's going to open a new one maybe you should open a club I should open a club who wants
06:55to open a club
06:59the next one is is YouTube your full-time job if not what do you do for a living no
07:07YouTube is not my full-time job
07:10I'm not making enough to live off YouTube at the moment but maybe next year who knows what I do
07:16for a living
07:17hard fear
07:22but I do have a bachelor's degree which I never used and if any of you guys can guess correctly
07:29what I studied
07:30I will send you a postcard okay Nikola is asking will you take me clubbing when I'm in Berlin I
07:40don't
07:41think anyone in Berlin is going to the club anytime soon at least not until the end of the year
07:48but
07:48maybe we should do a radical living party when the time is right next year would be fun all right
07:56next
07:56one do you have regular daily activities that you do in Berlin you mean apart from drinking beer and
08:03making YouTube videos not much no actually I like to play volleyball oh cheese and ping-pong ping-pong is
08:16actually Berlin's national sport if you didn't know it's true
08:21Gute Gesellschaft is asking what do you think about Leipzig the people say it would be the new
08:27Berlin this is actually a old friend of mine go check out his channel he does like really nice
08:33German music but yeah Leipzig is an awesome city I've been there a couple of times it feels like a
08:41smaller version of Berlin there's a lot of alternative people and the rents are so ridiculously cheap I was
08:49looking at flats there you can get a 100 square meter flat for like 600 euro a month it's like
08:5750%
08:58cheaper than in Berlin it's ridiculous I might have to move there someday next question is from Joe oh hi
09:06Joe
09:07do you like Rammstein if so what's your favorite song is that a rhetorical question I wouldn't live
09:17without Rammstein I don't have a favorite song all of their songs are awesome but I must say the new
09:31album
09:32song Deutschland mind-blowing next one is what are your favorite places to go and things to do in
09:40Berlin except from going into clubs my favorite area is around Friedrichshain between Ostkreuz and
09:48Warschauer Straße there's just so much going on the streets there's so many good restaurants the vibe is
09:56chill Berlin is such huge city there's so many different districts and my favorite thing to do
10:04is actually just go to a different district and explore see what's going on there go there to a
10:11museum exhibition bar whatever and yeah just experiencing the diversity this city has to offer
10:21I don't do one thing only I do a lot of things and the next one is from Angelica
10:29VTF are they doing with the post around here there are pickup locations all over the place but instead
10:35they give my packages to whomever lives on the street and often not even notifying me about it
10:42I'm guessing it's some sort of German thing that I don't understand it's not a German thing
10:50it's a Berlin thing and the reason for that is that the postman's are super lazy here in Berlin
10:56I live on the first floor the postman is always ringing my bell first if he has a package for
11:02any other neighbor my bell is the first he rings it doesn't matter what floor the package is for
11:08he will always ring this bell first because he's too lazy to walk up the stairs then they go back
11:14to
11:14work and say yeah yeah they they were not home I gave it to the neighbors so laziness is the
11:21reason
11:21for all that all right that were all questions for today and if you guys have any suggestions or
11:28inquiries about videos I should do here in Berlin or Germany or even Europe let me know put them in
11:36the
11:37comment box below and I will read all of them and think about it this year I'm going to make
11:42a lot of more
11:43videos about Berlin and Germany also but I'm also quite enjoying the comedy format I will I will
11:53become funny funnier than your mother funnier than your grandmother and funnier than God in a hundred
12:00years maybe and let me thank you again for being here I'm really excited for everything that's to come
12:05and yeah enjoy the ride I will peace
