00:01I'm here just outside the Scone Race Club where it has been confirmed that two men have died after a
00:08light plane crash here this afternoon.
00:10Emergency services were called to this paddock on Flemington Road just near the Scone Airport shortly before 2 o'clock
00:16this afternoon.
00:18We've been told the two occupants of the plane both died at the scene. They are yet to be identified.
00:24Investigations into what happened here are ongoing but we have had confirmation that the aircraft involved was a kit built
00:30aircraft listed on the recreational register.
00:34So yeah a tragic afternoon here in Scone as the community will grapple to come to terms with this horrible
00:40incident.
