To fight for legitimate sea rights for wanderers, pirate queen Ella buys the deposed prince Leon at a black market auction. They enter a contract marriage for mutual benefit. Facing naval sieges and pursuits, they gradually trust each other and uncover the regent Claude’s crimes—usurping the throne, murdering the late king, and framing Ella’s family. After overthrowing tyranny, Leon abandons the throne and lifts maritime bans.
