00:00Hi Michael, I don't know if you've had a chance to see Lissandro's interview so far, but he said that
00:05he doesn't think you were backed enough in the summer that the squad wasn't invested, the players who were here
00:10last year haven't had the support they need in terms of investment in the squad this summer and that essentially
00:15it's not good enough and the squad's not good enough.
00:17Do you agree with his point about the investment and do you think that you were let down this summer
00:22and that you weren't backed in the way you maybe expected to be?
00:25Well, I haven't seen the interview, I've half heard about it as the interviews that I've done, but I think
00:32it's a little bit on the emotions of the game as well, of coming here and being disappointed not to
00:37get something from the game and straight after a game for me is not the time to talk about that
00:45interview because I've not seen it, so I can't really comment on that.
00:48But I think it's important for us to move forward quickly really, I think there's a big game on Sunday
00:55and it's really important that we move forward and we stay focused on that, there's disappointment within the group, I'm
01:00bitterly disappointed in certain things and the boys are as well as a group of players.
01:08Hi Michael, I appreciate you don't want to speak too expansively on that, but in maybe a perverse way, do
01:14you take some encouragement that Lissandra has actually given you quite profound backing there saying that you shouldn't always be
01:19on the manager?
01:22Listen, as a group I don't doubt the togetherness or the wanting to win or the willingness to do things
01:31to win, so I really don't doubt that, I know results wise it's easy to look and think there's something
01:38kind of deeply wrong because we haven't won enough games, so I understand that.
01:42But the players have been great, I have to say, great not in a nice way, but great is the
01:49willing, the one who pushed, the willing, the very disappointed that they haven't come out tonight of something from the
01:54game because we were desperate and we feel like actually we could have and maybe should have.
01:58Hi Michael, sorry just one more on that if I can, just obviously it was so strong from Lissandra, unprecedented
02:03really I think for a player to say what he said after a game like that.
02:06Will you speak to him, how do you sort of move past that, it feels like he was making some
02:11pretty profound points there about the club?
02:13I need to find out a bit more about it to be honest before I can say what if and
02:18what is going to be done, I really can't comment any further because I'm not seeing it myself.
